We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us in the small room at the back of the tavern. We start at 8:00pm.

    IDF blew up the convoy with large logos of the aid organization that were travelling on a preapproved route and were reportedly in radio contact with IDF forces to insure safe passage.

    The WCK workers wore bulletproof vests within the armored cars. The group had reportedly complained to the Israeli military days earlier that an IDF sniper had fired into a WCK car, without any of the occupants being struck.

    Congratulations to one of Metro’s longest serving drivers, retiring after 50 years. When he started, he took a transfer to Dearborn Base(which no longer exists) that was home to an entire fleet equipped only with stick-shifts just to get weekends off, and when he was on the job for 36 years, chose to take on a new role, because he thought it was interesting.

    Garfield County, OK. Garfiled with 76% for Trump in 2020. The county seat is Enid, pop 62,000 (2020 census)

    ENID, Okla. — Voters in Enid decided by a nearly 20-point margin Tuesday to remove a City Council member over his ties to white nationalist groups.

    Judd Blevins lost his seat on Enid’s six-member City Council by 268 votes, according to unofficial results from the Oklahoma State Election Board. Nearly 1,400 people turned out, about a quarter of Ward 1’s registered voters and hundreds more than voted when Blevins was first elected last year.

    Blevins will be replaced by Cheryl Patterson, a former teacher and longtime Republican who campaigned on a return to “normalcy” for this small city nearly 100 miles north of Oklahoma City, which was divided by the furor over Blevins.

    All they really knew for sure is that Blevins marched in Charlottesville and it was believed he had ties to a Neo Nazi group. That was a bridge too far for the good GOP true believing citizens of Enid.

    Keep on keepin’ on with that core message of White Grievance, Donald.

    OK isn’t going blue but everywhere else with a sense of human decency is.

    In my school district, there were three candidates running for two school board positions.
    The two, endorsed by the teacher’s union, and who said they were there to teach all the kids well, not force conservative social ideology, won.
    The third, the one who posted vaguely conservative platitudes on his campaign material failed by 6 points.

    This is a generally more affluent school district. Book burning fanatics on the school board distract from the parent’s goal of the best possible education for their kids so the kids can be more successful.

    Trump social media accounts this morning began circulating the false claim that Trump The Penniless Rapist had paid off the mortgage for the family of a slain NYPD officer.

    The mortgage is being paid of by a private charity with no affiliation at all to any Trump.
