That is the most insane thing I’ve heard in a very long time. Falling on the ground now in Arizona causes burns that require hospitalization/

Every single one of the 45 beds in the [Arizona Burn Center] is full…and one-third of patients are people who fell and burned themselves on the ground. There are also burn patients in the ICU, and about half of those patients are people burned after falls.

The burn thing is nothing new.

    Last year, for starters:

Lack of homes for people are leading to more burns from hot pavement in Phoenix

A year ago, The Even Bigger Fucking Moron, the cause wasn’t climate change, it was homelessness. Did all the AZ junkies find homes since last year?

A warning from the Cleveland Clinic in 2019 :

Ooh! Ouch! That Scorching Hot Pavement Can Actually Burn Your Skin

You can get third-degree burns from too much contact exposure to hot asphalt in Seattle, too. And it’s been that way since there’s been asphalt.

The Even Bigger Fucking Moron, dark materials absorb the sun’s energy as heat, and there’s more heat in the summer. Did you not run around as a kid on your tippy-toes, trying not to burn your feet on the asphalt? It’s why you chose the grass when you could. So your feet wouldn’t burn.

Do you not remember the fried egg on hot asphalt ads? There’s a contest in a town in Arizona. Every year. Here’s a story from 2006:

Hot Enough to Fry an Egg? Contestants Find Out

You’re a fuckin’ third-grader, The Even Bigger Fucking Moron. The most gullible commenter on HA. An embarrassment to serious homosexuals everywhere.

Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit cheers the fact that in July, consumers don’t think a recession is coming, the way they did just last month.

The index measures both Americans’ assessment of current economic conditions and their outlook for the next six months. Both improved in July. The future expectations index rose to 88.3 in July, clearing the recession threshold of 80 recorded in June.

Hey, how about that Biden economy! Last month consumers expected a recession. Now they think things are a little better than that.

You’re a bloviating idiot, Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit. Read to the bottom before posting, asswipe.

Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit’s bloviating @ 7 about the Biden economy is based on data from The Conference Board. So let’s look at that organization’s full press release:

    Latest Press Release
    Updated: Tuesday, July 25, 2023

Although consumers are less convinced of a recession ahead, we still anticipate one likely before yearend.

    How about that Biden economy!

Expectations for future incomes ticked down slightly, a potential reflection of slower wage growth compared to a year ago. The measure of expected family financial situation, six months hence (not included in the Expectations Index) also softened somewhat in July—despite further decline in the 12-month forward inflation expectations gauge.

    How about that Biden economy!

“The proportion of consumers saying recession is “somewhat” or “very likely” to occur ticked up in July, contrary to the Expectations Index spiking this month above the threshold of 80

So, even more consumers think a recession is coming. How about that Biden economy!

“In our periodic survey of services, consumers continued to report intentions to spend less on discretionary services—including travel, recreation, and gambling—going forward. By contrast, they anticipate spending more in the months ahead on necessary services like health care, as well as cheaper services like streaming from home.”

People tighten their belts when they know there’s pain a’ comin’. How about that Biden economy!

Consumers’ assessment of current business conditions was slightly less optimistic in July.

21.9% of consumers said business conditions were “good,” down from 23.4% last month.

    How about that Biden economy!

31.6% of consumers say their current family financial situation is “good,” up from 28.8% in June.

Fewer than a third of US consumers think their family’s financial situation is good. That doesn’t sound like re-election sentiment to me. How about that Biden economy!

Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit, you knew that you were parroting a lie. I’m just here to make sure that everyone else knows that you knowingly parrot lies.

The bright side is that First Vegetable Joe Biden will take down that incompetent, unlikable Kamala with him.

Hey, I’m not saying Biden-Harris is a great ticket. It took Republicans to elect them, and it’ll take Republicans to re-elect them. Things are on track.

@8. Thank you for pointing out there was human-caused climate change effect in past years as well.

The Earth has set back-to-back records this week for the hottest days ever documented, first on Monday, then again on Tuesday and Wednesday. Researchers attribute these three days in a row of sweltering heat to a combination of human-caused climate change and El Niño, a weather pattern that has a global warming effect.

“Monday, July 3rd was the hottest day ever recorded on planet Earth. A record that lasted until… Tuesday, July 4th,” Bill McGuire, an earth scientist at University College London, wrote on Twitter. “Totally unprecedented and terrifying.”

We know it gets hot in summer, but this hot, for this long, is new and dangerous.
All you have done is shown us, once again, you are greedy and have no empathy. You are a broken human.

Water at tip of Florida hits hot tub level and may have set world record for warmest seawater
    https://apnews.com/article/record-hot-water-florida-coral-climate-change-6414d44c6f120507d3ee37c059fb75cd

Until the 1980s, coral bleaching was mostly unheard of. But “now we’ve reached the point where it’s become routine,” Enochs said. Bleaching, which doesn’t kill coral but weakens it and can lead to death, occurs when water temperatures exceed the upper 80s (low 30s Celsius), Enochs said.

It should be pointed out now that this particular troll has been yodeling about recession for more than two and a half years.

And that President Joe Biden and the Democrats in Congress added over 15 million new jobs to the economy during all that pearl clutching and couch fainting.

This is the actual text book definition of “bloviating”. A fool says anything at any time just for the attention. A Republican says whatever Tucker tells him to say.

    Whither Mike Pence?

Oh my God, but our fun is just getting started.

On a global stage the GOP will agonizingly put themselves through this humiliating and degrading ritual and still settle for the failed reality television celebrity. Who will reward them for that honor by destroying them.

We’ve already reached the stage in the debasement where Republican candidates are paying people to donate to their campaigns.

No savior can rescue them. Their own rules will forbid it. The field is now set six months ahead of the first early primaries. And already their doom is inescapable.

More freshly minted “Libertarians” will be born in the next six months than in all previously recorded history.

“Together we reached a win-win-win agreement on the issues that are important to Teamsters leadership, our employees and to UPS and our customers,” said UPS CEO Carol Tomé in a statement on Tuesday. “This agreement continues to reward UPS’s full- and part-time employees with industry-leading pay and benefits while retaining the flexibility we need to stay competitive, serve our customers and keep our business strong.”

heh.. kon-klown gives “free-stuff” to wealthy families:

Beginning in July, the state will make it possible for every K-12 student to receive a taxpayer-funded voucher or savings account worth $8,648. And for the first time in Florida, the vouchers will be available to children from wealthy families, even those who are home-schooled or who already attend private or religious schools. The money can go to tuition and educational expenses…

The new policy is a revolutionary (and expensive) expansion. The original state voucher program, which began in 1999, was designed exclusively for a small number of children in F-rated, or failing, public schools and, later, special-needs students. The program grew to more than 177,000 students, from households earning up to $100,000.

But, as of July 1, even the child of a private-jet-flying tycoon will be eligible for a voucher. ..

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/06/05/desantis-florida-school-voucher-program-costs/

Yet.. at the same time.. is redistributing wealth upwards anything new for repukes?
