The Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally meets every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern (2409 10th Ave E, Seattle) starting at 8pm out on the back patio.

Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, find another chapter near you.

    Assuming Anthony Kennedy would have remained on the court until at least 2021 had she won, the Supreme Court in the first Hillary Clinton presidential term would have ended up 5-4 in favor of left-leaning justices, not 6-3 the other way.

    I’ve given Harry Reid a rash of shit over the years, but it’s hard to imagine two people whose decisions harmed the Democrat party’s interests more than #CrookedHillary and RBG did.

    Two members of my family work in health care where contact with “teh wuhan” patients happen quite often..

    We’re all doing something right so far.. No guarantees of the same outcome but we’re going to keep doing what we’ve been doing.

    So, it looks like a dozen or so GOP senators might vote for a very watered-down gun bill that doesn’t ban assault weapons or high capacity magazines, or even require universal background checks, but does send more federal money to their states; although even this largely symbolic (except for the federal money) gesture to victims of recent mass shootings still remains to be seen.

    The Senate gun bill got 64 votes. Assuming the cloture vote gets 60, the Senate-passed bill will then go to the House, where AOC & Friends will tank it because it won’t require all AR-15s sold to include a permanent rainbow strap.

    The GOP will then be able to claim that it was ready to pass gun control legislation but the bill was killed in Nancy Pelosi’s House of Representatives.

    Democrats won’t be able to claim that the GOP did nothing to improve gun control.
