The Seattle chapter of DL meets every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern (2409 10th Ave E, Seattle) starting at 8pm. Note that a COVID vaccination card and ID are required to enter the Roanoke.

    You’ve all seen Bob copy pasta spew from Jack Posobiec right? He’s the author of the Q adjacent PizzaGate hoax about the invisible basement filled with Global Jew Democrat Baby Cannibals whose Wikipedia entry literally describes him as an “internet troll”.

    One of the “credible sources” our credulous idiot troll relies on, apparently.

    Right now Posobiec is busy Tweeting to the MAGAteen fanboys drinking themselves under the table because the jury ended deliberations for the night without delivering the acquittal they demand. According to Posobiec he has an “inside source” feeding him the hot news straight from the jury room. According to his source there are two jurors who are holding things up by refusing to acquit. The source tells him it’s because they’ve been threatened by activists and Jesse Jackson and they are worried about Kenosha being burned.

    The source according to Bob’s “credible source”?
    A “United States Marshal” working security.

    In a state court.

    These guys get to be this lazy, and this dumb because the people they con like our troll Bob are so much dumber. They happily gobble up huge piles obvious bullshit because their need for self affirmation is only exceeded by their stupidity.

    Now, I don’t have his specialized knowledge (and perhaps personal experience, you’d have to ask him) with this kind of stuff (i.e., getting hauled before a medical licensing board), but to me, on its face, that doesn’t look real good.

    While looking for the jail story (I knew I’d seen it somewhere), I found this item:

    This refers to Molotov cocktails found in his truck, along with several guns. So his contention, apparently, was that the 11 Molotov cocktails in his truck shouldn’t count against him, because he didn’t make them for the Capitol insurrection, he just carries them around in his truck for whatever contingency might come up, and they’re probably past their pull date anyway. The judge, as I understand it, wasn’t impressed.

    Moreover, and as I’ve detailed at length previously, the contention by Republicans that these people were just “tourists” or “unsophisticated trailer trash” who lost their heads is bullshit.

    Our troll fought for months to claim that there was no evidence suggesting this was a planned attack intending to use weapons and resupply with arms held safely in backup. The truth is these groups spent months online organizing and planning their attack. They had sophisticated radios they were using to coordinate their movements throughout that day. They had trucks full of guns and bombs. They had weapons stashed in place and plans to resupply. And all the documents and records of the planning clearly indicate that the objective sought in the attack was to prevent the certification of the official EV count by the joint session.

    It might not have been an insurrection. We don’t know that yet for sure. But it certainly was a terrorist attack. As far as the statutes, it ticks every single box. These people carried out a terrorist attack. These individuals are terrorists. The groups they belong to who participated in this are terrorist and terrorist affiliated groups.

    It’s over. The effort to redefine what has been claimed by the McHillbilly ever since January 6 is testament to the fact that there was no insurrection, and he has simply grown concerned that the absence of leaked supportive evidence so far must mean that there isn’t any.

    In a week he’ll be claiming that, OK, Rittenhouse might not be guilty of Murder One, but he certainly broke some basic laws of fashion by having his shirt untucked while attempting to run from POS Rosenbaum.

    I’ve said that lonely, violent, emotionally disturbed MAGAteen obtained a gun, brought it unlawfully into a jurisdiction where he was not legally permitted to carry it, brought it to a protest to play act as the thing he could never become, lost his head and killed people. He has exactly the same rights to defend himself as Kenneth Walker did.

    The difference is that Kenneth Walker didn’t go after the police. The police went after Kenneth Walker.

    So it comes down to how the jury sees the intentions of lonely, violent, emotionally disturbed MAGAteen when he gunned up and set out to LARP as a cop. Did he go after the people he shot? Or did they go after him? If the jury concludes that the prosecutor has failed to prove that MAGAteen went after them then he is not guilty of murder.

    You’d do well to stop yourself while you still can.

    All the circumstantial evidence points in that direction. There is not enough imho to sustain any kind of probable cause at this point. But plenty to sustain an ongoing investigation.

    The real thing that may have “gotten out of hand” between the election and Jan 6 was the Trump White House. The totality of evidence describes a steadily escalating atmosphere of delusion and hysteria. When you look at the briefings Trump was getting from people like Giuliani, Eastman, Powell, Patel, Lindell, etc. and the way that escalated as the constitutional process unfolded it’s very plausible to conclude that Trump may have been persuaded to believe he could pull it off. He’s even said so. Repeatedly in fact, whenever he’s bothered to vent his displeasure at his V.P.

    All that is missing would be a smoking gun. Contemporaneous notes, a memo, a transcript, or even an eyewitness account in a deposition or hearing. All the things Trump is suing to prevent.
    He’s going to run out of time eventually. And while that may not matter much to him, it might matter a whole lot to people like Amy Kremer and her friends.
