    They should feel so “proud”.

    Aimless, underemployed, and socially disconnected, they sought community under the leadership of a preening self-promoter who openly played with their devotion. Fascinated by his own power he regularly urged them onward into greater and greater acts of public violence and mayhem and bragged about it to his media industry colleagues. Over a period of two years following the election of president whitepower, he carefully threaded his way through the steadily growing mass of disorganized incel energy while milking it for soft drink sales and ad porn. And the minute it got serious enough for jail time, he dropped them like burning dog turds.

    And yet, in context they are merely a small slice of a much vaster universe of hapless dupes, madly mouse clicking the enterprise wealth and betterment of the select few opportunistic enough and cynical enough to take advantage. Compared to NRA sticker, Proud Boy shirts looks like Oxford Don’s robes.

    the Democratic race is shaping up as a contest between Biden and Warren, who’s outdistancing her progressive competitors.

    It’s not a two-person race yet, and it’s hard to know if this will hold, but I suspect it will. It’s consistently been the shape of things so far. The other top-tier candidates are sparking curiosity, but signs point to it coming down to these two. If Bernie fades, his support likely will coalesce behind Warren, and that will put her dead even with Biden.

    Memo to GOPers: Renominating Trump is how you get President Warren. That’s because if he’s the GOP nominee the 2020 election will be fought over personalities, not policies; and if history is a guide, the odds of Biden stumbling are pretty good, and if she becomes the nominee, even people who don’t like her policies will vote for her just to get rid of Trump. Don’t complain later that I didn’t warn you.

    Biden has baggage that turns off progressive voters, so if he gets the nomination, then I think the crucial question will be whether Trump is so repulsive that Biden occupying the top of the Democratic ticket won’t hinder progressive turnout.

    Biden continues to pursue the failed Clinton strategy of trying to peel off WhitePower! voters while largely taking the progressive vote for granted. There are plenty of things to criticize about that strategy. But fundamentally it is not an Electoral College strategy.

    To win the nominee must produce turnout in swing states. Clinton failed in that regard. She assumed the blue wall would be there and she left it for beet-fueled Moldovan bot-farms to define her personality to those voters.

He concluded “that Facebook’s efforts to counter misinformation have silenced some conservative voices on the platform.” In other words, if a social media company doesn’t to hand a microphone to liars, they’re “biased.”

    I’m not saying you stupid motherfuckers shouldn’t be allowed to vote. That would go against what I believe in, although I won’t mind if you stay home on Election Day. Unlike your party, I believe in democracy, which means giving every eligible voter a decent opportunity to vote. I trust the system; like capitalism, it’s imperfect, but the best system there is.
