Trump did not win because he was more attractive to this base of white voters. He won because Hillary Clinton was less attractive to the traditional Democratic base of urban, minorities, and more educated voters. This is a profound fact, because Democratic voters were so extraordinarily repelled by Trump that they were supposed to have the extra motivation to turn out. Running against Trump, any Democratic candidate should have ridden a wave of anti-Trump sentiment among these voters. I doubt any on here aren’t familiar with the concept but without Net Neutrality your ISP gets to decide what you can view on line. They may not, but they can. It could work like this. Comcast enters into a lucrative (for Comcast not consumers) agreement with HULU. If you are stuck in a Comcast neighborhood like me, well I could get 5MPS max from Century Link so really I have no choice, you get to watch HULU. They can legally slow down Netflix, HBO, Amazon Video so as to make the stream unwatchable because Comcast supports HULU. Your ISP can enter into any “Prefered content provider” agreements and no longer treat websites like HA equally as far as load speed.
It is LITERALLY the exact opposite of “Restoring Internet Freedom”.
