They did not refrain from handling the clock. They did not remove themselves, staff, students, or other parties from the immediate vicinity of the clock. They did not order an evacuation of the building or initiate a fire alarm. They did not order a response by an explosive disposal team. The clock was never even examined by an explosive expert. They kept the clock in the school, in the room with staff and the student, near other staff and students. And they proceeded to interrogate the boy about the clock in the presence of the clock, indicating throughout absolutely no perception of danger from the clock itself.
Any claim that anyone perceived the clock to be dangerous is not a credible claim given these facts.

So long as the GOP process continues to veer away from the more conventional candidates like Bush and Rubio, I’m not going to panic. To me, the extremism and xenophobia of the GOP front runners is a big plus for Democrats, especially Clinton.
While both party’s nominees may face a GOTV challenge among moderate swing state voters this year, I’m guessing that opposing a nominee like Trump will prove a powerful motivator among younger, poorer, less white voters in a general election. The trick will be targeted early registration drives in key states and districts – something the Clinton campaign is very well prepared and equipped for.

But I’m kind of tired or dumb founded why Democrats going along with the notion that income inequality is a result of the police of the last 7 years. Every time we talk about the current economy or the improvement since the almost great depression that it was we have to footnote it with a but. The but being that there is income inequality. I’m not disputing or denying that income inequality exists, but it start from 2001? Why do Democrats go along with discrediting the progress in the last 7 years with the but, as if it is because of the policies of the Obama Administration. I understand why Republicans like to say it. OK – maybe put some blame or accountability for the Obama administration for not improving or if the inequality has gotten much greater….but did it really start with his inauguration?
Maybe income inequality was already started 30-40 years ago when we transitioned into a service economy. We went from Agriculture to Industrial/Manufacturing to a Service Economy. This has been going on for a couple or more decades now. Did it really start with the Bush Administration or prior to that?
The world changes and so does the economy, it is now a global economy. The US Economy wasn’t the same 50 or more years ago. Are we experiencing something more than just a relatively unchanged government policies?
Did we have hedge fund managers who made millions and billions 30 years ago? Aren’t they part of the reason why we have income inequality? Aren’t GWB tax cuts create more income inequality?
We are talking about Robots replacing people and taking jobs away. Right Steve. Does that mean greater income inequality in the future? Is that Obama’s doing? Do we lower wages, as republican would like, so we don’t have the need for Robots? Wouldn’t that create more income inequality?
