I watched that piece from John Oliver about the upcoming independence vote in Scotland. Very funny! I don’t think the Scots will vote to leave the UK, but it’s going to be a close vote.

I can’t speak for other Capitalists, but I’m making over $3,000 in the stock market this morning. Oh, and I’m not at work today, or any other day — as a member of the Rentier Class, I don’t work, of course.

Missouri Cops Do It Again
A white teenager with no record or warrants is in a medical coma after being shot in the heart with a taser by a Kansas City cop who apparently lied about what happened during a traffic stop.
The youth was pulled over because of a warrant against a woman associated with the vehicle. The cop claimed he tased the youth for being uncooperative and combative, but eyewitnesses and video contradict that claim.
