Cheese eating non-salmonella monkeys

The frog bastards:

In Paris, hot meals are prepared on the premises of each of the city’s 270 public day care facilities. Nothing is mass produced, ingredients are more often fresh than frozen, and the chefs try to use organic products when they can. And the cost of the food is not exorbitant — only about $2 per meal per child.

At La Margeride day care, delicious smells waft out of the kitchen. By 9 a.m., the preparation of lunch is well under way. Chefs Elizabeth Morel and Martine Belaud have been happily working together for the past 14 years.

Literally hell on earth. Fresh foods, people working proudly in food preparation for over a decade, kids learning to eat healthy. No wonder conservatives hate the French.

It would be so much better if they fed their kids salmonella-laced frozen peanut butter sandwiches with the crusts cut off.

    Politically Incorrect spews:

Actually, if you ask the Brits, the Swedes, the Norskis, Danes Germans and others, you’ll find that all of Europe pretty much hates the French, and the French pretty much hate the rest of Europe. It’s a mutual hate society over there with the French on one side and the rest of the Europeans on the other side.

Or so I’m told by the non-French Europeans I’ve met.

    Roger Rabbit spews:

Yeah, the hated French, the socialist French, feeding healthy food to their kids. What a travesty!

  3. 3

    Roger Rabbit spews:

It wouldn’t surprise me if some wingnuts think we should have fought with the Germans against the French in both wars.

    steve spews:

If the Frenchie kids ever got salmonella they would at least get free, prompt and high quality health care.

Your assumption that “No wonder conservatives hate the French” is totally false and has no basis in any facts. Your assumption that we need to feed our children fresh food is correct. Your assumptions about the cost of food vs freshness may be very correct but do you have some facts?

    YLB spews:

Every wingnut I’ve ever seen come here will hate the French at the drop of a hat.

It’s just been conditioned in them AFAICT.

I’ve been in right wing comment threads and have been cursed at in French. It’s too weird.

    steve spews:

@7 Well, the French actually can be assholes. French-Canadians can be assholes too. But wing-nuts spewing French? Yeah, that’s gotta be weird.

  8. 9

    Roger Rabbit spews:

@7 “I’ve been in right wing comment threads and have been cursed at in French.”

Really? I’ve never enjoyed the privilege.

(Maybe that’s because I don’t post on rightwing blogs? I don’t want those fuckers to be able to trace me.)

What I’m wondering is how would wingnuts who can’t spell their own fucking names learn French words — unless they lived in France and/or jumped French babes?

Sure looks like the goatfuckers have been sleeping with the enemy. What a bunch of unpatriotic fucksticks.

Colonel Jocko 'Biff' O'Hanrahanrahan (Ret.) spews:

Conservatives hatred of the French goes back to the French Revolution — where the oppressive elite was dealt with fairly and quickly.

I imagine the bonus problems with the ‘bad banks’ would disappear in the blink of an eye if one of Dr. Guillotine’s inventions were placed in the skating rink at Rockefeller Center — and used swiftly and accurately.

God help the money elite if this conviction becomes commonplace.

    Blue John spews:

Actually I think the Conservatives hatred of the French goes back to the American Revolution.

The term Tory or Loyalist was used in the American Revolution to describe those who remained loyal to the British Crown. Since early in the eighteenth century, Tory had described those upholding the right of the Kings over parliament. During the revolution, particularly after the Declaration of Independence in 1776 this use was extended to cover anyone who remained loyal to the British Crown.

Since Conservatives are Torries by another name, If the French had not helped the Americans, we might still be part of the British Empire. The conservatives seem to still want a king, this Democracy thing is just too unstable to the social order.

Hey, roger, I’m just repeating what I heard from non-French Europeans, that’s all. If it doesn’t fit your Neo-socialist cause, then kindly go fuck yourself!

@10 Poor little troll – actually, if you read the article you would see that there is no link proven yet to Salmonella, but that the company is taking a precautionary measure quickly.

Imagine that – a company actually being proactive instead of denying things and wating for the overworked and understaffeed FDA to get around to actually researching the problem.
