Apparently, former Republican party chair Ken Eikenberry is endorsing the candidacy of Democrat Chris Gregoire…
UPDATE
Postman has the details:
Eikenberry, once the GOP’s candidate for Governor and a stalwart of the moderate wing of the party, was ostracized by activists when he endorsed the “Simple Majority” campaign last year.
Read the whole thing.
Fool me once, shame on me, fool me again, uh, er, shame, ah, er….somebody help me out here.
Thanks Will!!! :) Ya got me there!
The light of truth is being shed on the Darkness that is conservatism. And, as predictable as the coach roaches scurrying in MTR’s single wide trailer when he turns on the kitchen light to get a slice of.3-day old, moldy piece of pepperoni pizza and a warm beer, so too, are the old guard of the Republican party scurrying from the blinding light of truth.
Losers.
Whatev’.
April Fools Day used to be sorta fun, when I was maybe 12 or 14.
YOU’VE BEEN RICK ROLL’D, Neal:

Will, that’s a good one!
Are your parents from Philly too?
GBS : I know Madagascar Roaches and I know Brazilian Roaches but didn’t you take me to a Coach Roach last week?
Rock on, Beaker!
The mental illness that is contemporary Republicanism rarely permits recovery for chronic cases like Ken Eikenberry, even with the stiffest of psychotropic medications. Still, I thought for a moment, just a moment, that the post was sincere. I guess I’m just one of those ever optimistic liberals . . .
I thought the Polar Bear Conservancy one was a pretty good April Fools. I think they even fooled some poor n00b5.
Nice try.
Will,
Good one! You had me going there… and the payoff… particularly nasty! (or is that N-Astley?)
It’s been a long time since there was a “moderate wing” of today’s Washington Republican Party.
