Does anyone else feel like One Bus Away is less accurate lately? I don’t know. It seems like it has been giving me weird information lately. I got to a stop 5 minutes early the other day, and it just never came. I understand that will happen sometimes, but I would hope One Bus Away would tell me.

It’s still good most of the time. But I have been noticing more minor weirdness. It’s obviously easier to notice problems than to fix them.

Anyway, please wash your hands right now. And for goodness sake, for goodness sake, for goodness sake, get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

It’s election day…in Georgia. The Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally will be getting together to discuss the Georgia election results and other things political and liberal. Please join us if you will.

The Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally meets every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern (2409 10th Ave E, Seattle) starting at 8pm out on the back patio. Some folks may meet in the back room of the pub.

Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, there is probably another nearby chapter for you.

After spending a few hours yesterday fixing some server issues, I’ve started looking into how I might modestly update this shitty old blog. First thing you’ll notice is that I’ve removed the ads. They’ve only been generating a few bucks a month in revenue anyway, so why bother? I don’t really need the money, but if you want to help offset my $28/month in server costs, donations are always appreciated. That said, you’d probably do more good contributing to an ongoing journalistic concern than this shitty old blog archive. Up to you.

As for other updates, well, I hardly visit HA much anymore let alone post to it. So if you have ideas, please feel free to offer them in the comment thread, and who knows, maybe I’ll read them?

– Tax them capital gains. Collect the heck out of them.

– If you’re a woman, trans man, or NB who can get pregnant and you’re under 45, King County is recommending that you get screened for syphilis.

– Councilmember Sawant can call cops murderers to her heart’s content.

– Wash your damn hands right now. And get vaccinated or boosted with the fucking miracle before you see your family at Christmas.
