Some breaking news this morning:
BOTHELL, Wash. — The Seattle Times printing facility in Bothell was evacuated this morning due to a strange odor that made some workers feel sick.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. just off 120th Avenue NE, near NE 195th Street. At this point, officials don’t know what the odor is or where it is coming from.
They have not activated a full hazmat response.
Maybe its that acrid, sulfurous odor that always seems to hover around corruption.
After removing the Editorial/Opinion pages from the press, the smell dissipated and work continued.
A witnesses recalled seeing a pale, bearded, middle age man dressed only in a robe and slippers running away from the scene, muttering the words “I did it for you, Darcy!”
@ 2. Actually, upon further review, it was the recap of the Mariners road-trip that stunk up the place.
Ah, so Frank and Ryan dropped by to inspect the place, eh? From what I hear, red ink has quite the stench.
Must be the crap that passes for news.
