Certainly, it’s no fun to be gasping for breath, to feel terrified, and think you’re going to die. (You probably are.) So, these folks need our understanding. Above all, they need someone to blame. So what if we put a punching bag in each ICU room, and paint an image of a nurse or doctor on it, for them to pound on?

@3 I didn’t think she’d be acquitted. The jury would’ve had to disbelieve the witnesses. There was no reason for them to lie. It defies logic she didn’t know what Epstein was up to. If she got off, it would be on some super-technicality. Juries don’t finesse such things.

The barely regulated Christian Agape Boarding School is often in the news here in Missouri.
Smock is the longtime physician for Agape Boarding School, a Christian school that remains under scrutiny after five other employees were charged in September with assaulting students, amounting to a total of 13 third-degree felony assault counts.
It’s weird how the greedy racist incel will take some event like teachers taking a vote about COVID and virtual teaching to endlessly paint all public school unions as scum, yet has no opinion at all about christian boarding schools beating and abusing the kids in their care.
    What could be the difference?
Damning school unions owns the libs, while damming abuse in christian does not.
If it doesn’t own libs, Bob could care less if the teachers and staff fuck and beat the boys and girls

Politicans in Missouri have bent over backwards to set up schools outside of the public school system.

Missouri is only one of two states that does not have oversight of religious boarding schools.

“I refer to it as a gaping hole in our child welfare code where our child abuse laws and our criminal codes were not applied to these specific situations,” Ingle said. “An exemption to this type of facility with a religious waiver and that there was absolutely no oversight.”
“I refer to it as a gaping hole in our child welfare code where our child abuse laws and our criminal codes were not applied to these specific situations,” Ingle said. “An exemption to this type of facility with a religious waiver and that there was absolutely no oversight.”
The attorney general’s office is currently investigating Agape Boarding School and Circle of Hope Girls’ Ranch. Last month, the owners of Circle of Hope Girls’ Ranch, were charged with more than 100 crimes of abuse and neglect of a child, rape, sodomy and endangering the welfare of a child.

Lest you think it was just in Missouri, (but it’s connected to Missouri.)
Exclusive: Christian school near Tri-Cities ordered closed. Owner faces sex abuse lawsuit

A faith-based boarding school 45 minutes east of Pasco that was shut down last spring after abuse allegations is closed for good.
Pastor David Bosley and his wife Tresa opened the unlicensed home for troubled boys from across the country in early 2020. They already were running the Master’s Ranch Christian Academy in Missouri for at least seven years.

Master’s Ranch sounds like a gay S&M video title. Talk about hiding in plain sight. It seems that people who get off on abuse of boys have found if they call themselves a Christian school for Troubled Boys(TM), they can beat and fuck the boys with immunity and conservatives will only turn on them when it generates bad press.

New Documents Prove Tennessee County Disproportionately Jails Black Children, and It’s Getting Worse
    https://www.propublica.org/article/new-documents-prove-tennessee-county-disproportionately-jails-black-children-and-its-getting-worse#1227110

Tennessee’s Rutherford County, which has been widely criticized for its juvenile justice system, has been jailing Black children at a disproportionately high rate, according to newly obtained data. And, in a departure from national trends, the county’s racial disparity is getting worse, not better.

Black Children Were Jailed for a Crime That Doesn’t Exist. Almost Nothing Happened to the Adults in Charge.
    https://www.propublica.org/article/black-children-were-jailed-for-a-crime-that-doesnt-exist

A few weeks before, a video had appeared on YouTube. It showed two small boys, 5 and 6 years old, throwing feeble punches at a larger boy as he walked away, while other kids tagged along, some yelling.

The police were there because of the video. But they hadn’t come for the boys who threw punches. They were here for the black children who looked on. The police in Murfreesboro had secured juvenile petitions for 10 children in all who were accused of failing to stop the fight. Which is NOT A CRIME. The youngest girl was 8.

Carroll handcuffed the sixth grade black girl. Later, asked why, he said because policy allowed him to. Miles handcuffed the 8-year-old black girl with pigtails. “Just acting out of habit,” he said later.

Among cases referred to juvenile court, the statewide average for how often children were locked up was 5%.
In Rutherford County, it was 48%.

Republicans making it clear to the next generations of kids of color in Rutherford County that they are not welcome and they best move away as soon as they can.

Well, she got her name in the headlines again. I’m sure she is proud of herself.

Ms Greene, whose home state of Georgia once unsuccessfully tried to secede from the US so wealthy Georgians could continue to own Black people as slaves, made the incendiary suggestion on Wednesday in a tweet responding to a separate comment suggesting that “transplants” from so-called blue states should be “actively discriminat[ed]” against by GOP state governments through legislation denying them the right to vote “for a period” and requiring them to pay a tax for the “sin” of having lived in an area where voters prefer to elect Democrats to office.

I bet her base thinks this is a great idea.
I don’t think they considered the Blue states would stop sending that evil socialist federal support (/s) to the red states.

“A federal judge shot down Oklahoma GOP Gov. Kevin Stitt’s attempt to enjoin the Pentagon from imposing its vaccine mandate on his state’s National Guard troops. …

“Stitt had previously argued to the Pentagon that the mandate ‘violates the personal freedoms’ of Guard soldiers. Wait, what? That argument is just plain dumb, perhaps the dumbest anti-vaccine argument of them all.

“Does this even need to be explained? There’s very little ‘personal freedom’ in the military. You get the shots they tell you to. If they tell you to do pushups, you do them. If they order you to charge against the enemy into certain death, you do it. You gave up your freedom to say ‘no’ when you signed the enlistment papers. (Or, back in the day, when you got a Selective Service induction notice.)”

Stitt, needless to say, never served in the military.

It’s simple, really. Run the fuck away from the far-left.

Colorado’s governor provides winning model for the Democratic Party’s future

Polis’s pragmatic positioning on COVID, at a time when most Democratic governors and mayors have tried to outcompete each other on issuing the most onerous regulations and mandates, should be a lesson to the Biden administration about where the political sweet spot is on the pandemic. As the more-transmissible but less-severe omicron variant begins to spread in Colorado, Polis is again urging a get-vaccinated, get-back-to-normal approach that contrasts significantly from most of his Democratic gubernatorial colleagues.
    …
Polis’ centrist approach to governing—what counts as heterodox thinking in the Democratic party these days—isn’t limited to his handling of the pandemic. From the beginning of his political career as a reform-minded member of the Colorado Board of Education, he’s been a champion of public school choice. In our interview, he promoted the fact that Colorado parents have a great degree of flexibility over where to send their child to school, compared to many states’ one-size-fits-all systems.

“Glenn Youngkin’s message in Virginia was parents should control schools, right?” Polis said. “We take school choice as a given in Colorado. We have open enrollment within districts and between districts. We have charter schools and magnet schools. It’s similar during the COVID era: Different schools handled [the pandemic] in different ways, and parents were able to choose schools that better fit them.”

Polis added: “We were one of the earlier states to return to school. Kids had a relatively normal second semester last year.

Y’all wanna save the Democrat party from electoral disaster? Start telling The Squad to STFU. Begin with a decent primary challenge to them.

I know that you and Berkshire Hathaway can do better than that,”
    …
But Buffett responded with a letter quoting Berkshire’s annual financial filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which tells investors that the management of its different companies is left up to the executives at each subsidy — not Berkshire itself (or Buffett).
“Our companies deal individually with their own labor and personnel decisions (except for the selection of the CEO),” he said in his response to Sanders, which was released by Sanders’ office. “I’m passing along your letter to the CEO of Precision Castparts, but making no recommendations to him as to any action. Nother!

Ames, 81, died of complications from COVID-19 Tuesday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital…
Phillips said Ames was a principled conservative who, even while sick with COVID-19 in December, considered running for a fourth term..

    https://www.witf.org/2021/12/29/lebanon-county-commissioner-dies-after-being-hospitalized-with-covid-19/

    But here’s the kicker:

after being criticized by a few local Republicans for approving a small tax increase.

Oh, he mustabeen a closet Dem.. Good riddance bleats the dimfuk types.. a threat to their fookin’ munee…

however.. according to the seriously deranged babblings of teh widbee kreepah, this old old repuke is no longer getting a SS check.. and that..

    is GOOD

Let’s look at the currently clinking, unserious twat YLB’s spew, shall we?

    1. No mention that he was unvaxxed.
    2. He was legally blind for he past 25 years. Why? Diabetes, perhaps? Diabetes is a risk factor.
    3. He’ll be replaced by another Republican.
    4. He voted for a small tax increase – to support medical services, given his position – and he improved the hospital district’s bond rating.

What’s to cheer about this man’s death, YLB? The possibility that he may be replaced by someone who isn’t as effective as he was? Or that the life of a legally blind man was ended at age 81 due to complications of infection by a virus that Joe Biden promised he would stop?

Only The Even Bigger Fucking Moron‘s presence prevents you from being the most imbecilic commenter on HA, YLB.

It’s year-end 2021. Time to assess Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit’s stock holdings.

    He’s had AT&T for awhile:

    January 4: $29.44/share
Today: $24.68. A decline of more than 16% on the year.

He’s had 3M for 2-3 years and bought it at around $177 or so.

    January 4: $171.87/share
Today: $178.14. The site tells me it’s up 3.6% YTD. Over the time Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit has owned 3M, while the broader market has soared, 3M is up much less than 1% annually.

On October 20, he bought Citigroup.

Purchase price: A little north of $70/share
Today: $60.49. He’s down 16% or so in little more than two months.

For comparison, the S&P 500 tracking shares of Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ETF are up 26.24% YTD.

Don’t be a dumbfuck. Don’t follow Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit’s investing advice. Ever.
