– Tonight is the last freezing night for a bit, and it won’t be as cold as the previous few days. If you’re in Western Washington, you survived the worst of this winter. I’m proud of you.
– Also, proud of the social housing initiative. Unless Amazon’s money buys a late swing (I don’t think it will, but it’s a lot of money), it looks like the better one survived. There is a hell of a lot more needed, but this is an important step for more, and more affordable housing.
– If we want to push against a racist future, we should know about our racist past.
– I heard from your member of Congress and legislators. They said you didn’t call, so probably don’t care how they vote. Is that right? It doesn’t seem right.
So the ‘jumping off’ point for negotiations spearheaded by the Trump administration is capitulation to the primary justification of Putin’s invasion.
From previous thread
Donated? I think you mean Drumpf EXTORTED!
I’m not responsible for any of the fucking up.
I’m only responsible for the wins.
And I get to make those up as I go.
CFPB clawed back $21B in fraud from banks and industry. Most of it from banks capping the totally legit fees on ATMs. It is our god given right to stack transactions so that the maximum number of overdraft charges can be assessed. I own a payment system and I know that I can’t make money if I can’t charge 5% of the total transactions to consumers.
But I’m shutting it down and X’ing that I’m going to give their $700m in funding back to the taxpayers.*
That’s enough for very man woman and child in America to buy a McDouble.
*By taxpayers I mean those with real property assets of at least $3m.
Well we’re protecting women in sports. That’s what you signed on for. No Chicks with dicks in women’s sports. We want to make sure all biological women can play sports.
We care about women in sports so much. We just eliminated the horrible Biden Title IX rule saying if a University that receives government funding offers Name and Likeness (NIL) payments to male athletes then they also have to offer NIL payments to female athletes. We’re giving so much help to women in sports keeping the trannies out.
@5,
You are not the President. And you need to go away.
Gas prices rising in February is not normal.
But don’t you worry. I have the concepts of a plan and that is to go back to OPEC and beg for an increase in production. And piss off Canada.
It’s gonna be great. By the time you are needing to drive the kids to baseball practice I will totally have the prices right where I want them. Trust me.
Yep. That’s our budget right there. Yes, we are proposing $800B in cuts to Medicaid. Yes, I KNOW we gave medicaid $607B last year but they need to pay us back $200B for all the waste and fraud.
Yeah it was definitely part of project 2025 and I want to thank you all for reporting that President Trump on the campaign trail claimed to not have anything to do with Project 2025.
Honestly we were as surprised as anyone you in the media let us get away with it.
I can’t thank you enough.
We’re also taking 20% off of SNAP. And I want to thank farmers all over the country for supporting us. How could you have known we would make people buy less food? It’s not like we campaigned on it or anything.
Never underestimate the stupidity of voters especially if you get them all riled up about a black person having a job.
And if any of the so-called FAKE NEWS goes into vulnerable states and districts to remind voters there how Republicans took away their insulin I will sue you and Mark Zuckerberg will suspend your Insta.
This from a man who demonstrated an alarming lapse of cerebral blood flow on camera:
Say, has anyone else noticed that the rate of inflation has climbed each month since September?
And that an annualized rate of inflation based on January’s report would be greater than 6%?
This might be why Welfare Queen YLB didn’t get the seven rate cuts in 2024 that she was promised.
Jeffrey Toobin joins the NYT Opinion team.
Move over, Jayson.
Biden, after saying this, had 2 1/2 years to get it done.
Biden says Ukraine might have to give Russia land in ‘negotiated settlement’
Instead he propped up the obvious loser, who lost even more land while costing the US taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.
Let’s not forget Biden’s April Glaspie moment:
53-47 to advance RFK Jr.’s nomination to the floor for the mandated 30 hours of Democrat panty-twisting.
Say, how are you libbies feeling about Reid and Schumer these days? Do you feel powerful, Welfare Queen YLB? Or do you feel like Harry Reid sold your filibuster for a few magic beans, which Cocaine Mitch warned you were actually Trojan horses?
Yes. Looks like I’ll be living mostly in the past for the next few years.
You call a few days of nippy weather a survival winter, Carl? Heck, I’ll bet your pipes didn’t even freeze.
@1 Who elected Trump to negotiate for Ukraine? In Ukraine, I mean.
Panama, Greenland, Canada, Gaza, Ukraine — wherever you look, it’s the 1950s “Ugly American” all over again. Republicans have learned nothing in the last 70 years.
@6 No, he just needs to do what I tell him.
@10 McConnell could have stopped Trump in 2021. He chose not to. He chose poorly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIitjokEJwg
@12 Right off the top of my head, I can think of someone who’s led “a very long illustrious career of stupid, slanted, lazy, dishonest
legalpolitical commentary, womanizing, adultery, abuse of the legal system, and just generally being a shitty person in all aspects of his life.” You voted for him three times, because you’re civically incompetent.@14 If you think Putin sensed weakness then, imagine what he’s feeling now.
@15 I’m seeing proof there’s literally no one this GOP kindergarten won’t confirm.
House Republicans Eye Big Cuts To Medicaid And Food Assistance
Republicans are looking for deep reductions in programs like Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, both of which serve low-income Americans.
Big and small, people are learning that JimCrow2.0(dot)com will destroy them. Republicans did this to them.
@ 21. Never once did I vote for Bill Clinton.
The power and authority of Nazi clowns.
Remember the time the idiot troll lost his shit because President Obama wore a tan suit?
Be it known henceforth that it was under a Republican Administration that the United States told the world that we are NOT the strongest military in the World and that over 100 years of American strength is OVER.
I hear about that retirement processing mine in Pennsylvania and all I can think about in response is radon.
Which is unusual for me. Since most of the time all I can think about is G-man’s anus.
CNN reported that 70% of poll respondents think DJT47 is doing what he said he would do.
It’s nice to see Chuck Schumer agreeing that there is a tremendous amount of waste in government and claiming that his issue is that the waste is being exposed and eliminated too quickly.
Chuckles was Senate Majority Leader for four years. He didn’t seem worried about all that waste during his time at the top.
DJT spent $37 million to pull out early at the Super Bowl.
Pete “Shots!” Hegseth stole $140 milion from enlisted housing to put a commercial liquor well room in his base quarters.
The public officials responsible for revealing these examples of waste and abuse by DJT and his Nazi SS have been renditioned to Gitmo.
If Trump wants to buy Greenland, and Denmark is willing to sell, that’s fine. Trump made an offer in 1946 (which the Danes rejected).
If Denmark wants to buy California, and the U.S. is willing to sell, that’s fine, too. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/denmark-should-buy-california-petition-trump-greenland-rcna191806
If Trump takes Greenland by force, Denmark shouldn’t invade California, it should grab something on the Atlantic coast, say Florida or Washington D.C. Then they can negotiate an occupied territory swap with Trump.
@25 Neither did I, but you voted for a guy much worse than Clinton.
You and I are not alike.
@26 It’s no accident Musk dressed all in black. He’s attending democracy’s funeral.
Oh? That’s LITERALLY felony bank fraud and Grand Larceny.
@30 It’s time for him to get a protection order. He has a stalker.
35,
Assuming federalism is indeed dead, then it would be appropriate for California to entertain multiple offers and negotiate for the best deal for California.
And in that vein states should entitled to enter into interstate compacts to reaffiliate as a group if that improves their bargaining power.
The United Pacific Rim has real potential. I don’t see why we couldn’t let Spokane and Bakersfield go.
@31 I suppose so, if you think keeping the bottom 20% alive is wasteful. Republicans clearly think so. And so do you.
I’m looking forward to Democrats winning the two special elections for House seats in Florida and the two special elections for Senate seats in Florida and Ohio. Previously out of reach, these seats could very much be in play. Beyond those seats, four senators are over age 80, and three of them are Republicans.
Safe seats, you say? We’ll see how many GOP House and Senate seats are safe after they do away with Medicaid and food stamps, and set their sights on Social Security and Medicare. All so Elon and the billionaires in Trump’s cabinet don’t have to pay taxes. My guess is almost none.
@40 The re-named states comprising the New Confederacy won’t be completely cut off from Asia, because they’ll have possession of the Panama Canal, but the canal will become superfluous when their trade with China drops to zero.
Ot’s not just mRNA anymore.
The measles outbreak in Texas is now up to 24 people. All unvaccinated. The vaccine had been widely available in the USA since 1963.
I told you motherfuckers to knock it off with that shit.
People have to eat. Most food stamp recipients are elderly retirees and working poor, not shiftless street people. They depend on food stamps to eat.
What will happen with food stamps gone? They’ll still have to eat, and Republicans will still be unwilling to raise wages to survival levels. So they’ll steal groceries.
There will be a massive increase in food shoplifting. Grocery stores won’t be able to stop it. They’ll have to raise prices to absorb the shrinkage.
Grocery costs for households will soar.
Oh and also, farmers will no longer get tens of billions of dollars from the food stamp program (which was set up to help farmers, not poor people, which is why the Department of Agriculture runs it), and they’ll also lose the income from the food commodities purchased by USAID for distribution abroad.
(Contrary to Republican popular belief, USAID dollars aren’t sent abroad, they’re spent in the United States, and go to American farmers and workers. The same is true of military aid to Ukraine.)
Republicans will then spend tens or hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out the farmers with direct subsidies, canceling out the savings from eviscerating these programs. There will be no budget savings, only a lot less food, and a lot more hungry people in the world.
History teaches us that widespread hunger often leads to violent revolutions that overthrow existing political and economic systems, wiping out existing property rights in the process.
(When the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia, one of the very first things they did was send agents to the provincial capitals to burn all the land deed records.)
In short, this is how you get a French or Russian revolution, and end up with socialism or communism, which then takes several generations and millions of lost lives to unwind.
Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit @ 46 wants you to know that USAID dollars are spent domestically.
So the fraud and graft must be domestic as well.
Hey, speaking of domestic fraud and graft, the former Illinois House Speaker and leader of that state’s Democrat party was just convicted on 10 charges:
Madigan, BTW, is the father of former IL AG Lisa Madigan.
The loss of fraud and graft income to many liberals that DOGE will cause is driving the opposition to DOGE efforts. Faster, Elon.
43,
The canal becomes superfluous when the Arctic becomes navigable year round.
Of course that also comes with Miami under water for half the year.
With any luck, Republicans will pass their draconian cuts budget and tax relief for Elon before the special elections.
@47 I’m all for prosecuting Democrats who engage in graft and corruption. And Republicans who do the same. Everybody is treated equally regardless of partisan loyalties.
That’s called “rule of law,” dumbfuck. I’m 100% for it, not just 50% for it like Trump. How about you?
@ 48
The canal becomes superfluous when the Arctic becomes navigable year round.
Someone isn’t paying attention to what’s happening in our world:
Early Winter Ice Halts Arctic Shipping Traffic Weeks Ahead of Schedule
That article was published October 4.
“Snowfalls will soon be a thing of the past.” Remember the good ol’ days, before the prediction models began to fail?
I believe HA’s biggest loser on this one is QoS McHillbilly:
So the Army ordered the renovations before Hegseth was nominated. Of course, they could have been done during the Biden administration, during one of those extended periods when the Biden SecDef was hospitalized without telling anyone.
She doesn’t want anyone to know, but whenever she sees a photo of Pete Hegseth working out with the military boys it makes Welfare Queen YLB moist.
So the fraud and graft must be domestic as well.
“For 70 years, Kansas and American farmers have played an active role in sending their commodities to feed malnourished and starving populations around the world. This free gift from the American people is more than food. It’s diplomacy and feeds the most vulnerable communities,” Rep. Tracey Mann, R-Kan., said in a statement.

But the radlib dominatrix makes dumbfuck do the weirdest gooning shit behind the closed doors of the horse barn…
Good on her.. so it knows its place..
Here’s some of that @ 46 Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit-lauded domestic spending by USAID that was used to amplify left-wing journalism while suppressing right-wing journalism:
Microsoft Disavows Left-Wing NewsGuard After Cruz Letter
The damage to left-wing shills that DOGE is doing is two-pronged:
• Direct cuts to monetary handouts to those who misuse the funds
• Preemptive cuts to those POS lefty entities by companies who know that they’ll be caught and exposed if they keep funding them.
Faster, Elon.
Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit defends @ 46 USAID because it subsidized the American scientists who did the research that resulted in the creation of the virus that leaked out of the Wuhan lab.
See, it’s domestic spending that enriches our nation!
USAID helped make Rick Wilson a rich man.
If you’re Rick Wilson, you’re not allowed to act surprised when the gravy train enriching you comes to an abrupt stop.
ICE has waited four long years for the go-ahead to push back.
In a perfectly just world this POS wouldn’t have been caught until he drunk-drove in Seattle and ran over one of Welfare Queen YLB’s fucked kids. Maybe next time.
Scheduled transits, previously impractical, have grown in every year of the last twenty. A 37% increase over the last decade, you phenomenally stupid asshole. The Arctic ocean warms three times faster than the global average. Only you and that drunken dumbfuck Hegseth are unaware of these basic principles that will define strategic naval operations in the 21st century.
Marine operations are long term bets involving the laying down of keels decades ahead in anticipation of decades of returns. And just as the unique requirements of the Panama transit dictated ship designs 100 years ago and operations, so too do the unique requirements of Arctic transit. The future of northern hemisphere shipping and strategic naval operations lies to the north. That’s why every major naval operator in the northern hemisphere is already there.
Fucking.
Idiots.
Samantha Power has done well on a modest salary, and Musk is alleging she might have profited illegally.
I disagree. If she traded options – this is referred to by Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit as gambling – smartly and particularly if she went all-in at the trough of the pandemic selloff in March of 2020, she could easily have doubled her money, in which case going from the upper end of the range she declared in her financials to her current reported net worth of $30M was likely done quite honestly.
The Biden administration’s four years were very, very good to me, too. My family certainly does not need the retirement dollars that Welfare Queen YLB’s two fucked kids will spend their next four decades slaving away to provide.
Conservative GA radio host in *DEEP RED* Columbia County, hard hit by Helene, surprised that FEMA denied continued funding of cleanup.

You all just stand aside while I explain Catholicism to The Pope. Or kneel. Yeah. Kneel.
CEO of Ford, Jim Farley, who tried to appease trump with a million dollar “contribution” is warning of layoffs due to Trump’s policies. Assembly plants likely to be hit states = Trump won: Kentucky (64%),

Big and small, people are learning that voting for Republican JimCrow2.0(dot)com will destroy them. Democrats are better.
@ 60
Then come out and say it’s because Finland and Russia are building icebreakers at an accelerated rate and it’s the icebreakers and not a massive melt of ice that facilitate the winter transit.
Leave out your @ 48 silly Miami comment and I’d have nothing to say. But you chose to go silly.
Didn’t you.

Friendly fire is a real thing. Ask Pat Tillman what happens when your unit turns on you
Brandon Gill (R-TX) was an Air Force brat who grew up on a cow ranch, graduated from Dartmouth, then worked as an investment banker. He’s 30 years old, so he has limited life experience. He has been a congressman for slightly over 5 weeks, so he has limited experience in public office. He obviously has never read the U.S. Constitution or Bill of Rights, because he doesn’t know what a bill of attainder is.
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5141449-gil-petition-ilhan-omar-deport/
Young Brandon Gill is a 🤡.
Don’t get me wrong. I think this administration, and the Republican Party as a whole, is willing and capable of violating other people’s civil rights. In particular, they are eager to deport certain U.S. citizens. They believe the laws don’t apply to them, and nobody else has any rights. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are a social contract, as much as a legal document, and they look at it and say, “Fuck that.” This is where we are as a country today.
If I were the Speaker, I would put his office right next to hers, so he’d have to pass her in the hallway every day and see her glare at him.
@52 “The cost of the repairs — including almost $50,000 being spent on new paint — came to light in a Jan. 30 notification to Congress from the Army.”
That’s a lot of money just for paint for a house. The Army must have bought the paint from Elon.
next four decades slaving away to provide.

@54 Rep. Mann’s seat may flip blue when that source of farm income dries up as a direct result of farmers voting for Trump and for him.

It needs a stiff drink of top shelf shit when it gets the bill.
Amy Lee sucks btw..
@56 But NewsMax is fine …
Conservative viewpoints are hardly censored as Cruz claims. I don’t think I even need to discuss that.
Remember when guys with tiny dicks wanted to Cosplay Desert Storm so the civilian Hummer was born?
Now it’s one guy with a tiny dick writing himself a check to make his piece of utter shit vehicle cosplay because he can’t sell the fucking things.
The first unit killed because they were sitting ducks in a car that stopped working will be DEFINITELY NOT THE TIME to politicize an asinine waste and fraud.
Nobody believes this anymore than they believe your claims to feel anything other than a profound sense of white pride every time we call you a Nazi.
74,
Most of us are thankfully quarantined from it.
But Vicious Troll is daily immersed in conservative views on Xitter that routinely extend to eugenics, race purity, Holocaust denial, and even crafting circles discussing methods of making lampshades out of human skin.
Conservative viewpoints are routinely allowed to extend well into open discussions of credible political violence targeting liberal opposition with no consequences at all.
Queen Elonia doxxed the daughter of one of the federal judges who recently ruled against his unlawful embargoes of Congressionally authorized agency funding using personal details he stole from IRS and GSA servers when he breached them, revealing her home address, her banking and tax information, and other personal details in retaliation for her father’s legal rulings against him.
Yeah. Poor conservatives are really being oppressed.
@57 That’s quite a leap of imagination from wheat and corn to a lab in China.
While we’re on this subject, USAID gave $815,109 between 2014 and 2021 to the University of California – Davis (which needs no introduction) that EcoHealth Alliance (whose mission is “protecting people, animals, and the environment from emerging infectious diseases” by supporting “research aimed at preventing pandemics”) gave to the Wuhan Lab (details here).
The Wuhan lab, among other activities, conducted gain-of-function research. This research is controversial, and debated in the scientific community, because of the risks involved. Go here, not to Doctor Dumbfuck’s online rants, for a dispassionate and informed discussion of this issue.
I’m not taking a position on gain-of-function research, because I don’t have the expertise to weigh in on that issue. Neither does Doctor Dumbfuck. He can’t even weigh evidence as opposed to forming conclusory opinions. He does that with respect to the guilt or innocence of accused persons, too. He has that in common with Trump.
I’ll merely point out that USAID’s financial support of the Wuhan lab over a 7-year period amounts to 0.16% of the $500 million worth of desperately needed food relief rotting in warehouses because stupid voters like Doctor Dumbfuck had the bad judgment to put people like Trump and Musk in charge of our foreign aid efforts.
And this doesn’t even take into account how many Americans might die in the future as a result of putting an anti-vaxxer in charge of the NIH.
As Forrest Gump would say, “Stupid is, as stupid does.” Me being lectured about USAID by a phenomenally stupid person like Doctor Dumbfuck is, well, amusing. 🍿🍿🍿
But Vicious Troll
vacuous troll rather, horseshit shoveller and tree hugger, courtesy of Mary Kay teh radlib dominatrix.
Did she really start taking SS at 70? Ain’t that teh persfi consensus? Mo munee that way. Long may she live.
@58 “Trump is currently enjoying his highest approval ratings ever”
Cult leaders like Jim Jones and David Koresh typically enjoy high approval ratings among their followers. So do the lemmings at the head of the pack. So do leaders of lynch mobs.
That doesn’t make them right.
being lectured about USAID by a stupid person like Doctor Dumbfuck is, well, amusing.
Amusement is the point. Thanks dumbfuck for making our point. All the stuff teh freek gloats over – it makes our point.
What a dope.
@61 “Samantha Power has done well on a modest salary, and Musk is alleging she might have profited illegally.”
Or maybe Samantha Power, daughter of affluent parents who graduated from Yale and Harvard Law, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning best-selling book author, made her money in the private sector.
That seems more plausible than anything Elon says, given his propensity for making evidence-free accusations.
@78 Want to know what’s really funny? Musk claims the judge has a “conflict of interest” because his daughter works at the Department of Education.
https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/judge-mcconnells-daughter-works-at-department-of-education-elon-musk-sparks-row/ar-AA1yQR01
@82 What would we do without him.
@58
Most people aren’t chronically online so they won’t notice until their three egg ham and cheese omelette in a Scranton Denny’s hits $17. And their summer gas is $4.25. And a refill pack for the staple gun is $12.99. And there are LITERALLY no tomatoes unless you grow them yourself. And that new F-150 they’ve been saving for well they can still swing it as long as they get the standard cab with the rear wheel drive for $43k.
All that will come shortly after they open the first 40% reduced Social Security Check or realize Mom can’t afford the Medicaid supplemented retirement condo and she’s moving in. And the kid got suspended for three days not thanking Jesus for the Allegiance to the flag.
And starving people in the Middle East have started putting IEDs near American bases again and the death toll is rising. And another plane crashed into a taxiing plane. And yet another die hard MAGA kid shot up another school.
And then Hurricane season hits and FEMA is now left up to the state in which their tore up house sits.
And Elon is telling them to suck it up and cut back on the Starbucks if they’re struggling.
Right now those folks are content to hate the spics and they love him for it.
@61 A lawyer named Jack MacDonald was employed by the Seattle V.A. for over 30 years. At his death, he left a $187 million charitable trust for the benefit of Seattle Children’s Hospital, the University of Washington Law School, and Salvation Army.
MacDonald’s extreme wealth, which he didn’t flaunt during his lifetime, doesn’t prove he embezzled millions from the V.A. Rather, he astutely invested the millions he inherited from his parents, who owned a local business.
Doctor Dumbfuck should watch the movie “The Paper” if he missed it when it came out. This is a stop-the-presses story. Two black teenagers are arrested at the scene of a murder. The paper is going to run the headline, “Gotcha!” with their pictures. Then the paper’s reporters start digging, and at the ending, the paper runs the headline, “They didn’t do it.”
I recently read John Grisham’s second nonfiction book, titled “Framed.” It describes ten cases in which cops and D.A.s went to extraordinary lengths to convict innocent defendants.
Like Trump and Musk, Doctor Dumbfuck rushes to judgment without digging up facts, and comes to the wrong conclusions. Unfortunately, people like them sometimes get into positions of power.
(We don’t have to worry about that in Doctor Dumbfuck’s case; he’s not even allowed into the radiology lab anymore, for reasons that seem obvious.)
Then innocent people get hurt, but Doctor Dumbfuck doesn’t give a shit. That’s one of many things making him different from us.
It’s like we are faced with this impossible choice between the highly trained, experienced, competent, qualified, professional officials in government who insist on obeying the law but always manage to get the job done, or a mob of porn adjacent influencers and delusional con artists awaiting the rapture led by a drug addicted billionaire who can’t find their car keys but are willing to inflict misery on the people we are secretly afraid of.
How are we supposed to choose?
42)Good Luck, I doubt they will flip, and what NY Dems tried to do with Stefanie’s seat, will be harder to win that one.
Locally, I think King Conservation District turnout went down, but since the Commissioner was unopposed, it wasn’t going up.

Gee, why might this happen?
https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/ford-ceo-reportedly-says-layoffs-possible-if-trump-administration-repeals-biden-era-legislation
Yeah, vehicles heavily subsidized by taxpayers that no one would otherwise want might be built by workers without job security if the gravy train comes to an end in order to prevent Welfare Queen YLB’s fucked kids from bleeding to death by all of the effects of staggering debt and high interest rates.
Boo. fuckin’. hoo.
[Full disclosure: Because of the $18k in discounts and other incentives and the ability to write the payments off as a business expense, three months ago I leased a Honda-badged EV. No issues so far but man, you should read the problems a lot of people are having. Thanks for the subsidy, O fucked kids of Welfare Queen YLB!]
@ 78
Queen Elonia doxxed the daughter of one of the federal judges …
Yes, and it was such a serious threat to her personal safety that MSN republished the entire tweet, word for word:
Judge McConnell’s Daughter Works At Department Of Education? Elon Musk Sparks Row
https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/judge-mcconnells-daughter-works-at-department-of-education-elon-musk-sparks-row/ar-AA1yQR01
And now Goldy and Darryl are by their inaction threatening the life of this poor, innocent woman. Catherine McConnell.
Oh. Her “home address”? It’s Baltimore. Or Washington. No need to be more specific than that, amirite?
@ 70
That’s a lot of money just for paint for a house.
Not for a nice one. But you’ve never lived in a nice house, Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit, so how would you know?
@ 67
… Pete Hegseth is the first SecDef I am aware of to be openly booed by military families on a military base.
Yeah, well, Bowe Bergdahl is the first and only person I am aware of who was convicted of misbehavior before the enemy after being given a hero’s welcome upon his return to America subsequent to handing himself over to the enemy and causing the deaths of two comrades who were sent out on patrol in an effort to find him.
Somehow I think Hegseth won’t be damaged by the boos of a handful of spouses whose SOs tried to parlay chick-with-dick into a military career.
For I was hungry and you gave me a prayer card, I was thirsty and you gave me a two-for-one coupon, I was a stranger and you stuffed me into a rental van and drove me to JBLM, I needed clothes and you held a dollar between your teeth, I was sick and you gave me deworming paste, I was in prison and you deported me.
@88 “How are we supposed to choose?”
If Democrat, obviously choose the smart thing.
If Republican, inexplicably choose the incredibly stupid thing.
These aren’t suggestions; they’re an explanation of how gravity works.
@92 Is your barn painted? Didn’t think so.
@93 You know nothing about the military and those who serve.

@ 98
State Department plans $400 million order for armored trucks from Musk’s Tesla
Don’t like it? Then order ICE trucks instead of demanding EVs.
That’s internal combustion engine, dipstick.

Eliminating 1 out of every 4 federal government workers will reduce federal spending by..
drum roll..
1 percent.

Gloat harder dumbfuck.. lmao..
The problem with all the ‘hidden fraud’ in Government Spending is budget documents are by law public with few exceptions.
Like for example how at 9:16ET last night someone changed the state department procurement that previously said $400m for up armored Cybertrucks to ‘’Armored Electric Vehicles’.
Weird how Vice President Trump isn’t worried about batteries and sharks anymore.
WSJ….
“If Indians and Pakistanis could be relocated why not Palestinians?”
Well sure. Other than the 2M who died in the first few years, The sectarian violence that forced another 20m to flee to other parts of the world and getting close to a century of border dispute that gives World leaders great concern since…you know…both sides have nukes.
This was written by a 22year Old IT guy who works with both Pakistanis and Indians and thinks Sri Lanka is a peaceful island getaway?
The consensus has been that he just lies. And the evidence backs that consensus every single time.
But that isn’t to say that he isn’t also naive. For example, he actually believes his wife when she tells him that her relationship with Petty Officer Williams is “purely a physical one”.
The latest..
Elon found a secret program where Biden was paying Reuters for propaganda publishing.
The facts, It was a publicly disclosed program. It was signed off on by Donald Trump. It used Reuters reporting as the control and their data centers to feed ‘fake news’ and try to find a LLM AI that could differentiate between factual reporting and bot generated stories of questionable sourcing.
Weird how all of Musk’s findings are hidden in plain sight. Except the one’s he lies about because the don’t exist like Condoms to the Palestinians.
If Welfare Queen YLB were to serve in Congress, this is how I imagine her to be:
@ 105
You gloss over the fact that Reuters was paid by the federal government to publish propaganda.
I’m less interested in whose fault it is than I am in terminating the publication of propaganda at government expense.
Similarly, I care little whether Elon overpaid for Twitter. It’s enough for me that the one-sided censorship Twitter engaged in during the 2020 election campaign was absent in 2024.
Eliminating biased censorship and propaganda harms Democrat interests. If Elon Musk has to take a few hits to his reputation in successfully eliminating these things, I’m OK with that, and I suspect so is Elon Musk.
From the NY Times daily newsletter:
How would the Supreme Court rule on an impoundment challenge? The justices decided a relevant case last spring. In a 7-to-2 ruling, the court rejected a challenge to the funding Congress provided for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (which Trump has just unilaterally closed, the subject of another lawsuit).
Justice Clarence Thomas opened his majority opinion by declaring that “our Constitution gives Congress control over the public fisc.” He added later that by the time of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, “the principle of legislative supremacy over fiscal matters engendered little debate and created no disagreement.”
Gloat harder, dumbfuck!
“We’re talking about tens of billions of dollars that we’ve already found. … But you’re talking about maybe 500 billion. It’s crazy the numbers you’re talking about.”
-orange pants shitter
The president, with billionaire Elon Musk at his side, asserted that Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service had already identified “tens of billions” of “waste, fraud and abuse.”
The president’s numbers do not come anywhere close to matching figures posted on the DOGE account on X, ..
We added up all the figures posted, taking most of them at face value, though virtually no documentation was presented. The numbers add up to about $6 billion a year, though $4 billion comes from a proposed cap on National Institutes of Health research overhead payments to universities, medical centers and other grant recipients. A judge has blocked that for now.
In other words, DOGE has claimed only about $2 billion in annual savings from specific line items — most of which appear to come from ending diversity or climate change programs. Whether that constitutes “waste, fraud and abuse” is a matter of opinion.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/02/12/doge-savings-trump-musk/
Dang, elmo and its shitler youth off to a pokey start. But that’s not really what elmo and the broligarchy is after – more on that as time goes on.
Gloat harder anyway, dumbfuck!
You lie. Again.

in terminating the publication of propaganda at government expense.
Fire drumpf then. But we could start with baldy Stephen Miller.
causing the deaths of two comrades who were sent out on patrol in an effort to find him.
Heh.. yet another interesting “fact” (as teh babbling butthole would bleat) from teh dumbfuck of widbee..
Dumbfuck, didn’t your fellow fever swamp dwellers say it was six? Six “comrades”?
https://www.newsweek.com/did-6-soldiers-really-die-looking-bergdahl-253917
Well perhaps dumbfuck “thinks” the 4 extra lacks “intelligence” and “seriousness”. So let’s look at the two. From the same article:
Former Private First Class Jose Baggett, who normally sat next to Andrews on every mission as driver and radio telephone operator, had been injured when a roadside bomb hit his truck on a previous mission. Martinek took his place.
“I even remember helping him pack his gear for the mission,” Baggett said. “Worst day of my life to date.”
Baggett says he doesn’t think the death of the two soldiers, or anybody else, can be directly linked to the search. Even if Bergdahl had not walked off, the battalion still could have taken casualties during its 12-month tour of Afghanistan, he says.
Ooops.. Take it from a guy who was there. Certainly not dumbfuck.
It’s their inflation now.
And it looks like it’s going to get worse fast.

As previously reported, USAID also doled out massive sums of foreign funding for Sesame Street programming in the Middle East, including:
• $20 million to create a Sesame Street program in Iraq (Award ID #72026721CA00001);
• $4.1 million to establish a Sesame Street program in Bangladesh (Award ID #72038818C00001);

• $300,000 on a second season of Sesame Street in Kenya (Award ID #SKE50021GR3082).
•
The investigative body additionally identified other questionable USAID expenditures:
• $4.5 million to teach individuals in Kazakhstan “how to fight back against internet trolls” (Award ID #72011523CA00001);
• $200,000 on a Lebanese organization addressing vaccine misinformation with “an inoculation chatbot” in Uzbekistan (Award ID #7200AA22FA00028);

• $12,000 for pushing abortion as a method of family planning in Africa (Award IDs #72067418P00016, #72062118P00018);
• $715,000 on “digital solutions for access to labor justice” in Mexico (Award ID #7200AA21FA00047).
Don’t know about the rest of y’all, but I sure feel PWNED by this one:
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2025/02/11/girl-denied-heart-transplant-cincinnati-childrens/78328436007/
Oh well. Thoughts and prayers.
According to another Congressional Committees findings President Biden took bribes from Burisma.
But that also turned out to be pure bullshit and would haved depended on Biden owning a time machine.
So troll lies. Again.
@107
You gloss over that they were not.
You accept what Elon is saying at face value.
Given, Model Z is available in 6 monts (came out three years later) and cyber truck will be delivered by the end of the year (came out 4 years later) and will have amazing offroad capabilities (it does not) and will have an Amphibious mode (it does not) and will sell $1m robot ‘helpers’ by the end of the year 2024 (has sold less than a thousand)….
Clearly you a gullible fool.
I have CBD cream. I promise you it will take away your gout, muscle and joint pain, keep you from getting tumescent around a horse and using it will being you financial gains beyond your imagination. All this for just $195 a tube. DM me your proof of payment and it will ship immediately. Why yes, I am Nigerian royalty. Why?
@110
“the inclusion of the placebo control group indicates that CBD creams have little curative value.”
Report scrubbed from the FDA.
“The Case was dismissed without prejudice”
Scrubbed from HHS website
What the Shitler youth know how to do is a query for keywords which of course….causes problems. Industry knows that simply feeding in keywords is GIGO but they are doing it anyway.
Alan Dershowitz laughs at the silliness of the Democrats’ claim of the week.
Huh, funny. Sesame Street is one of your big complaints. Because educational TV is DEI.
@114, copy paste from FreeRepublic
Lets take one of those “grants” at random.
Award ID #72012224P00001
See @118 for the inherent problems of just doing a keyword search.
“CULTIVATING INCLUSION FELLOWSHIPS”
Don’t take any time to see what the grantee does with the mere $2,600 it has received so far. Just assume it’s bad. Praxis Plus is a disability organization, what we used to call ‘handicapped’. The bulk of their work is implementing ADA type infrastructure that is commonplace throughout most of the world. The grant in question is specifically aimed at disabled CHILDREN.
Y’all are pretending they are hiring an LBGBTQIA+ liaison adult to push DEI projects.
LITERALLY, three minutes of a google search tells me that.
They were awarded $50,000, less than the base price of a Tesla, and to date have received, again, under $3,000 AND they have to re-apply in August to continue receiving funding
Because, as we all know, even though US Government funding toward abortion remains illegal and Planned Parenthood, your other boogieman sequesters government funds from donations to comply with the law. Y’all bleat “The government is funding abortions!”
So one random item on your very long copypasta list is complete bullshit. Indicates that many many more if not all, are complete bullshit.
Wasn’t it a constitutional crisis when every single one of Biden’s cabinet secretaries saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears that he was incapable of doing the job, and yet none of them did their duty to force his resignation under threat of removal pursuant to the Twenty-fifth Amendment?
Instead of a constitutional process that could have been carried out quietly in 2023 it became a political process that took place very publicly in July of 2024.
Had Democrats managed their own constitutional crisis differently, we might not have DJT47.
Think on your sins, libbies.
@ 120
So one random item on your very long copypasta list is complete bullshit.
I’m with you in that it won’t be the only one, before all of this is done.
Although when hundreds of billions of dollars are not wasted as a result of this huge effort just getting started, your $3k Sesame Street argument will look pretty silly.
Just think how wimpy liberal protests will be in the future when there’s no money to astroturf in the “protesters”.
Dersh.
Good source.
Rudy hasn’t weighed in yet?
Former Democrats Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. have joined DJT47’s Cabinet.
Current Democrats were powerless to prevent it. Democrats were warned this would happen when Harry Reid went nuclear. The warning was explicit.
Was it worth it, libbies?
@ 124
Dersh.
Good source.
Ah, that’s right. He’s not useful to you anymore. So that must mean he’s wrong about the current disagreement not coming anywhere near the definition of a constitutional crisis. Is that what you’re saying?
Tim Walz for Senate? Are we gonna be treated to that walking, talking shit show in 2026, too?
@101 “Eliminating 1 out of every 4 federal government workers will reduce federal spending by.. drum roll.. 1 percent.”
Of course that’s not the objective. Getting the cops off the environmental and financial beats so the GOP’s sponsors can pollute and steal without interference is the point.
@122
Another two minutes would have told you exactly how much we make selling licensed Sesame Street toys all over the world. Anywhere the program airs. But no matter we don’t need those jobs
Our shareholders Don’t need that money.
It’s waste and fraud.
Remember when conservatives freaked out because a program that started before I took office let a trade group for Christmas Tree farmers use a DC office building below market rent to make PSAs for live trees instead of plastic in exactly the same way the USDA helped with the “Beef, it’s what’s for dinner” campaign.
See the kind of bullshit they’re talking about now?
I remember that. It was stupid.
@126
When was he ever useful? Except maybe keeping Insulin cheap.
@106 About what we must expect from low-literacy wingnuts like you and Mr. Eagleman, whose “main source of income appears to be his X account,” and whose online bio lists no educational attainments or credentials whatsoever.
So you’ve never used a play on words to make a point, and don’t recognize one when you hear one? Neither does Mr. Eagleman.
I, myself, sometimes forget that when talking to Republicans, you have to dumb-down to their third-grade level of verbal and comprehension skills, which means keeping things extremely simple and avoiding all allusions, metaphors, and similes, and sticking to stick-figure drawings when trying to explain something to them.
Forgetting this easy to do, even for Rep. Schakowsky, a former elementary teacher well versed in communicating with very young children, and whose many years in Congress have taught her that Republicans are like very young children.
The point isn’t that “manufacturing” is called “manufacturing;” she’s asking why there are so few women in MANufacturing, which is a question her listener, Mr. Eagleman, and you would rather not answer.
But we know what the answer is, because Mr. Jaydee Vance has answered it for us: Republicans believe a woman’s place is in the home, cooking for her MAN, and churning out babies.
Federal bureaucracy will be pared back significantly, and federal bureaucrats are overwhelmingly Democrats.
It’s not a constitutional crisis, it’s a crisis for them. The rest of the country benefits.
It’s time to Lois Lerner the IRS.
@107 “I’m less interested in whose fault it is than I am in terminating the publication of propaganda at government expense.”
Really? I haven’t heard you complain about the gazillions of taxpayer money being spent on publicizing Trump’s lies and bullshit.
If you were serious about this, the first thing you’d do is eliminate Karoline Leavitt’s federal salary.
Armored Teslas were a line item inserted by the Biden administration. They must have liked the Black Rifle Coffee Company ad:
WE PUT MINIGUNS ON A TESLA
@ 135
I see Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit has nothing to work with.
Sad!
@107 Musk is going to take hits to more than his reputation if he keeps throwing Nazi salutes, pimping for fascist dictators, and trying to take down America’s democracy.
His campaign to fund a huge tax break for himself by eliminating Medicaid and food stamps won’t help Tesla’s sinking sales.
Of course, people on Medicaid and food stamps don’t buy Teslas. Neither do Republicans. The market for his cars is affluent liberals, and they’re not only fleeing “X” (formerly Twitter), they’re also fleeing Tesla car lots.
@110 What Elmo, Drumpf, and Doctor Dumbfuck are really interested in is spending uncountable millions of taxpayer dollars to change maps and websites from “Gulf of Mexico” to “Gulf of America” in order to “pwn the libs.”
It’s not about cutting spending, it’s about reprioritizing spending. Republicans never spend less than Democrats, or run smaller deficits; they only spend it on different stuff, and borrow from China to do it.
For those uncomfortable with the enrichment of Elon Musk that armored Teslas might create, there’s the option of arming a hybrid instead of an EV.
We Put a Vulcan Cannon On a Prius.
Black Rifle Coffee Company again.
@112 Law students taking a tort class learn about proximate causation. At its most basic, liability doesn’t attach to a defendant’s negligence if it didn’t cause the plaintiff’s injuries. This is commonly referred to as the “but for” test.
So the question is whether those soldiers would be alive but for Bergdahl’s desertion. Stated another way, if they would have been killed anyway, Bergdahl didn’t cause their deaths.
Because no soldiers were killed during the primary search mission, when the soldiers left their bases and went into the field specifically to look for him, and all of the deaths occurred during other primary missions when looking for Bergdahl was only a secondary activity piggybacked onto those missions, the claim that Bergdahl caused their deaths fails the but-for test.
Do NOT expect a dumbfuck with third-grade comprehension skills to understand this. He’s the kind of guy who would slip and fall on a banana peel in the middle of the street that was thrown out of the window of a passing car, then go to a lawyer wanting to sue the woman walking her dog on the sidewalk a couple houses away.
@140 “We put a Vulcan cannon on a Prius.”
No, they put one of these on a Prius as an advertising stunt.
Look closely. The thing even looks plastic. There are no rounds in the belt. The explosions are CGI.
That’s why they were able to drive down the street with it mounted on a car roof without getting pulled over by an ATF SWAT team.
Tim Walz for Senate? Are we gonna be treated
We? heh.. Last I looked it was up to the voters of MN to make that call. But a dumbfuck’s gonna dumbfuck.
https://apnews.com/article/tim-walz-governor-record-minnesota-vp-1d03387a8941cc1952e03fcf09fc1390
His record is very good. He’s got a good shot. An equally progressive Dem from that State may challenge him. It’s all good.
@ 142
The RV in Stripes wasn’t really equipped with all that firepower, either. And Superman doesn’t really fly.
Nothing gets past you, Robinhood Rabbit. Other than satire. And the weekly BBC on his way down the hall to service Mrs. Dumbfuck Rabbit.
the claim that Bergdahl caused their deaths fails the but-for test.
Bergdahl was a head case Coast Guard washout. But an army desperate for manpower to fight Bush’s wars lowered their standards and took him in anyway.
A hero’s welcome? Obama lauded his parents but had few words of welcome for Bowe himself.
It’s hilarious to see magats and bush buttlickers like dumbfuck ass klown themselves continuously over Bergdahl who paid the price for his mental illness, grandiosity and the Bush Army’s lowered standards that enabled Bergdahl, with 5 years in Taliban captivity.
The plot thickens.
The Shitler youth appear to have taken a category of USAID grants, “Cultivating Inclusion Fellowships” as connected on the database and dumped them all online as ‘DEI Scams’
So yeah, GIGO.
I’ll have more later.
Shit. Dersh has long been outed as a pedo. And Fat Hitler alone has at least four – four! – F-O-U-R – four! – count ’em: four – four constitutional crises he has brought about both inside and outside of office.
President Finger Rape for starters, since that’s probably the most humilating one.
Derschiwitz of course doesn’t remember WHY Agnew was forced from office.
(Hint, because he was caught dead to rights literally taking bribe money in the White House. George HR Bush was part of it. Google os free.)
And as Nixon was sure to be impeached a plea deal was given to keep a felon from gaining presidential immunity. Moot now with a felon President.
Also probably doesn’t remember Nixon firing the Watergate investigators after WaPo had ALLLLLLLLL the goods on his felonies.
Dersch has been reduced to a guy occasionally popping up to demand people recognize he’s not dead yet.
Pretty soon that won’t be true. He’s 86 after all.
Interim Head of Manhattan DAs office resigns blasting AG Pam Bondi publicly for her actions facilitating NYC Mayor Eric Adams offer to violate the laws of the State of New York regarding immigration in exchange for a dismissal of the solid bribery case against him.
Rumor mill says the complete case file is in the hands of the Manhattan DAs office now.
I remind you Bondi’s letter to the office specifically stated that the order to drop the case was NOT made on the merits of the case.
Pam’s gonna need a pardon. But she has experience dropping dead to rights cases against Donald.
@150
Oh the letter is fun. Pretty much confirming state charges against Adams are coming but also against DOJ officers
Wow, America Strong. Trump strong man.
Hehehehe

@132
Bwaaahahahahaha. He wrote it himself.
According to Elon’s own info, Twitter creator payout tops out at $40K
That’s for an account that is generating an average of 20M views per post. Dude has a pinned post up (Like one he thinks is MOST important) that doesn’t have that. Looks like he’s typically seeing 3-7m views. So by Elon’s publicly available pay scale, dude it making $35-40k a year from his mom’s basement being a productive member of society. When mom croaks and he needs to pay the food and property taxes he’ll be pretty well fucked.
Fannie Mae estimates you would need a $49k/year income to purchase a house in the ‘Texas Hill Country” where the bio he wrote for himself on the Twitter and elsewhere says he’s from.
So his net worth is his car and his computer. Says he has a NetWorth of $2m. He’s a Trump fan all right. Literally nothing he claims is true.
When half a dozen career federal prosecutors resign because they were ordered to drop a corruption prosecution against a pal of the president who’s now doing him favors, you know something is rotten in
DenmarkTrump’s White House and Bondi’s Justice Department. If I were a black female actress, writer, and producer, I would cancel my show at Kennedy Center, too.
Let me explain my reasoning, starting with, “We took over the Kennedy Center. We didn’t like what they were showing,” Trump said.
To expand on this, last week when Trump replaced the Kennedy Center’s board with lackeys and appointed himself board chair, he “described the Kennedy Center as too ‘woke.'”
This means the Kennedy Center is only going to host performances extolling white supremacy from now on, and black performers understandably want nothing to do with that.

My my, that’s disingenuous for someone who wanted to get “punched in the face” during the Jan. 6 riot, and then supported pardons for the rioters. Talk about double standards! But everyone understands this deranged woman is mentally ill, and we may need to make allowances for that.
Believe it or not, fully 17% of Americans believe a president has the option to ignore Supreme Court orders.

I didn’t know the homeschooled population was so large. This may explain falling school enrollments. What else don’t homeschooled students know? Just about everything.

GRIFT: noun
(sometimes used with a plural verb) a group of methods for obtaining money falsely through the use of swindles, frauds, dishonest gambling, etc.
money obtained from such practices.
@115 Couldn’t they give the kid a heart and then recycle it to another patient when she dies of Covid or bird flu?
It seems to me a bigger problem is the kid, having been adopted from China, may be deported and then you’ll never get that heart back.
@119 I believe the idea being floated is that Trump should obey court orders so we don’t have another constitutional crisis that would take a civil war to solve.
@121 “Wasn’t it a constitutional crisis when every single one of Biden’s cabinet secretaries saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears that he was incapable of doing the job, and yet none of them did their duty to force his resignation under threat of removal pursuant to the Twenty-fifth Amendment?”
No.
And no essay is required to get an “A” grade for this answer, given the true-false format of the question.
@122 The only way you get to a “hundreds of billions of dollars wasted” figure is by defining nutrition and health care for poor kids as “waste.”
According to Elon’s, Trump’s, and the GOP’s values it is.
@123 “Just think how wimpy liberal protests will be in the future when there’s no money to astroturf in the ‘protesters’.”
If that’s the case, why does Trump need an otherwise unqualified SecDef who will order the military to shoot them?
@133 “federal bureaucrats are overwhelmingly Democrats”
This isn’t surprising given that Republicans are overwhelmingly anarchists who don’t believe in having a government.
Donald is out there threatening Canada again claiming they have no military and require us to protect them.
That would be news to the RCAF that flies a lot of advanced aircraft. And their standing Army.
Would they be defeated by the US? Of course. Would one or a group of our five star Officers pull a successful operation Valkyrie if ordered to invade a longtime ally without provocation?
And there it is. Donald floats letting Elon eliminate the VA.
Some of those guys are trained unlike the kid in PA. *
*Dear Secret service. Though I have a handgun my eyesight is terrible and I represent zero harm stated or inferred by this observation that if a kid with no experience can come that close A highly trained veteran is another thing altogether. And I definitely don’t expect Tubbo the Orange to break into my house justifying…you know, Castle doctrine.
The GOP House budget committee passed a fiscal blueprint tonight that says deporting essential agricultural workers is more important than feeding American kids or providing health care to low-income families.
It’s obvious what’s going to happen. The only reason anyone can work for $7.25 an hour is because federal housing, heating, child care, and food assistance makes it possible for people to work for below-subsistence wages. With that support gone, small businesses dependent on minimum-wage labor will have to pay subsistence wages, which will double their labor costs. Think of it as, like tariffs, a tax on the middle class.
It certainly does simplify government and reduce the need for government employees, which frees up money to give the rich tax breaks. That’s music to the ears of anyone worth $100 million or more.
One cheerful side to Trump’s mass deportation plans is he’s sending ICE agents into cities before cleansing farms of foreign workers. That means the elderly in nursing homes will die before the rest of us starve to death.
Donnie just announced intention to sell F-35s (stealth fighter) to India. Now the reason absolutely no President has entertained selling advance aircraft to india previously is the bi-lateral defense agreement between India and Russia.
Yes folks, Tulsi has convinced the Dotsrd to give F-35s to Russia.
Sad Country when that’s actually a success story. Immigrants make more too. We’re evicting the wrong people.
Keep kicking ass Roger! And others! Welcome back Elijah.

Susan Collins wears many hats. Sometimes she’s Senator Concerned. Other times she’s Senator Disappointed. And she’s even been Senator Tsk-Tsk.
There’s one thing she’s consistent about, though: She votes for Trump’s nominees every time. She voted to confirm Kavanaugh. She voted to confirm Hegseth. She voted to confirm Bondi. She even voted to confirm RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.
Mainers may be independent, but their senator isn’t. She’s just a load of hot air.

I wonder if this means the civil service mechanics were fired and government planes are now being maintained by political appointees?
Wondering how you’ll personally fare under Trump’s and the House GOP’s fiscal blueprint? Well, wonder no longer, because the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) has crunched the numbers.
Combining Trump’s tax cuts and tariffs yields the following results: All income groups except the top 5% will pay higher taxes, when tariffs are deemed a tax on consumers, as they should be. For a detailed breakdown, go here.
Hopefully they’re not being maintained by anyone, period.

But that’s not what happens.
Mom is pre-diabetic right now, burning through a 401k and monthly SS ordering frozen Tombstone pizzas and Ice Cream from Instacart, taking her yearly Disney cruise, and falling for the door-to-door Alpha Pest sales contract, falling asleep watching pay-per-view. In a couple of years she’s going to suffer a bad fall. That will be her first trip to rehab, for about a month. That will lead to a maintenance addiction to opioids (“Don’t invalidate my pain!”). Then she’ll begin mixing the opioids with alcohol. That will lead to a series of TIAs leaving her confused, irritable, and highly vulnerable. She’ll burn through her remaining 401k on a Trump grift. Then she’ll need skilled nursing care in a memory care wing, which she won’t get because Republicans killed Medicaid .
So he’ll murder her in her sleep with a pillow and head to prison.
“That can’t happen to me!”
It just did.
The US Department of Homeland Security has issued an RFP for federal contractors to conduct surveillance and monitoring of private social media postings by US citizens to identify those individuals who are critical of ICE immigration enforcement raids.
“STOP CALLING US FASCISTS!”
Note: since the idiot troll whaddabout is completely predictable I’ll add this important clarification and disclaimer.
Since 2014 DHS has engaged in social media monitoring of non US citizens applying to enter the US. This is in response to the growing awareness that terrorists and terrorist networks targeting the US have relied on social media to raise funding to support terrorism and conduct outreach and planning coordination.
So, NOT THE SAME THING AT ALL.
And really only a liar or an idiot would need to have this explained. So naturally…
