Vendor errors.
To save even more money I implemented a “trusted vendor” program that directs stores and distribution centers to receive merchandise from select qualifying vendors without any verifiction or counts. I knew it was going to result in us being invoiced for merchanise we never received. But the counts get fixed during routine cycle counts (mostly). And the savings more than surpass the resulting shrink. Plus we get to report the shrink as a loss on our taxes and lie to the media about it and blame it on the poors.

@1 In normal times all cabinet nominees get confirmed without fanfare. The mere fact some of Trump’s cabinet picks are dubious says these aren’t normal times and he’s not a normal president. (Of course, we already knew that, even without his felony record.) So I wouldn’t crow too much if I were you.

@5 Bondi is full of shit. The prosecutions of Trump were absolutely cases of crimes first, investigation second, charges third, in that order. They were triggered by the following crimes: Violating Georgia election laws by pressuring the state elections officer to “find” more votes to overturn the results. Inciting a violent insurrectionist mob to attack Congress to prevent certification of a valid election. Stealing classified documents (including nuclear secrets) from the government while a private citizen. Can Bondi explain why a man who boasted of being able to get away with street murder shouldn’t attract the attention of police and prosecutors? Can you?
The notion that Trump is a victim of legal persecution is pure bullshit. He was indicted by multiple grand juries of ordinary citizens. He was convicted by a jury of ordinary citizens. Jack Smith isn’t the kind of prosecutor who goes after innocent people because of politics, and Trump isn’t an innocent person.
“Lawfare” is bullshit, just like everything else Republicans say is bullshit. If people like Trump aren’t prosecuted for their crimes, we’re not going to have a country anymore.
