Crosscut is getting rid of its opinion section. I am more interested in their news than their opinion.

I also don’t exactly know what Crosscut is for: If it’s for Seattle, giving John Carlson a regular gig seems like more wingnut welfare (although googling this, it looks like it’s been a minute). If it’s for a wider regional audience, the opinions seem more narrow than the news coverage. Right now, the 3 latest opinion pieces have “Seattle” in the headline.

Anyway, please wash your hands right now. And get vaccinated if you haven’t yet, you jerkoff.

    A due process claim won’t get far if it’s based on the racial makeup of public attendance in the courtroom. It’s constitutionally barred by the 14th amendment. Your efforts to “cleanse” the criminal justice system of “The Blacks” got far enough during voir dire. Probably farther than they should have. And to claim that jurors were “intimidated” you first have to get one of the actual jurors to claim that they were intimidated. It’s an actual thing. Not just an “atmosphere” or “perception” by disappointed white nationalists like you.

    As white men in Georgia they got more due process than ninety nine out of 100 non-whites could ever hope for in that state. You problem in championing their appeal is the murderers themselves. They are terrible human beings with lengthy records of racism and white supremacy. They got nearly all of that excluded from mention during the trial. But there’s nothing they can do about it now. And long before their appeals are filed every state court judge in Georgia will know more about these three than they ever wanted to.

    Now they move on to federal court to face federal kidnapping and hate crimes charges. White nationalism lost today.
