    What’s happening with the “Israeli-Syrian-North Korean situation.” is that the administration is still lying to us and trying to paint the other countries in the ME as devils when WE are the ones who came out of nowwhere and without provocation invaded and occupied a country in their midst, setting off a vast sectarian conflict and sending millions of refugees into their countries without lifting a finger to help them with the enormous costs of that exodus.

    We are the ones who cut the legs out from under the PLO and, when the desperate Palestinians elected Hamas as their ruling party of choice, refused to talk to Hamas and look the their way while Israel continues their war crimes of “100 for 1” collective punishment of Palestinians and starves them into what they hope is submission.

    Bush and Rice probably want to keep the pot stirred in the Middle East, because that plays into the neocon conquest agenda.

    However, with the recent discovery of vast oil reserves off the Brazilian coast, they may decide to bomb Brazil instead of Iran.

    There’s nothing, beyond what I’m already doing, that I can do to help the situation in the middle east. However, if I don’t go outside, work in the yard, get some sun and exercise then the amount and quality of the work that I do do suffers.

    Some times spading a garden plot or taking a bike ride really is the best thing to do.

    Maybe if W. Bush had finished what he started in Afghanistan, instead of attempting to finish in Iraq what he felt his father had not finished, the world would be right again. Should we elect Jeb Bush so that he can attack Iran and then turn around and re-attack Afghanistan to finish what his brother failed to do?

    Failure to follow through seems to be a Bush family characteristic.

    Well if Bush wasn’t legally elected when he won in 2004 with the closest state being Ohio (a state he won by at least 120,000) and 52% of the popular vote, than surely Clinton wasn’t legally elected who never got close to 50% of the popular vote and ran against two conservatives.

    Once the Democrat is elected president in 2008, which all the Boy King’s horses and all of his men cannot stop, then we can begin to get something useful done in this country for change.

    – Pass universal health care
    – Rebuild New Orleans
    – Withdraw the Occupation troops from Iraq
    – Stop violating US law by halting the torture of prisoners
    – Focus on neutralizing/marginalizing/capturing Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda
    – Partner with other ME countries for peace in the ME
    – Pressure Israel to halt collective punishment of Palestinians
    – Persuade Israel to negotiate and settle on a Palestinian solution
    – Implement measures such as carbon cap and trade to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build a green economy that leads the world

    US spy analysts were busted a while back for oogling over satellite photos depicting the naked breasts of women on nude beaches around the world. It is unbelievable that every square centemeter of Syrian (and all US “enemies”) soil is not being monitored for undesirable activity. To pretend this was a surprise is just another chain-jerking, Kabuki play by the cons. The Bushco failure to alert the congress in a timely manner is just another example of their contempt for the American tradition of constitutional government. It is despicable to stand in the way of any sincere attempt at peace for political reasons.
