In fact, not. What Goldy did was post a link. That is all those embedded videos are! What would be a violation of fair us would be for Goldy to host the content without consent. (Content providers encourage links, and build a tool into the player software to make it easy to do.)

What gave you that idea?
A comment consisting of only a link without commentary is acceptable, provided it otherwise meets the comment policy. Hence, it must be germane to the post (or the conversation that evolved from the post). Also, repeatedly posting the same link would be frowned upon.
A good rule-of-thumb is this: Ask yourself, “Is the comment part of a discussion?” If not, consider not posting it.
Back to links: I recommend commenting with a link. It may entice more people to visit it. But commentary isn’t strictly necessary.
I do discourage putting multiple links in a single comment. Sometimes it is fine. Other times, the spam service (Akismet) holds the post and start classifying all subsequent comments as spam. We have very little control over this besides freeing the trapped comments…it is a centralized, automated service. But it prevents hundreds of real spam messages from being posted to comment threads each day.
