When I mentioned the grocery workers’ strike authorization, I said that I wasn’t sure what to do to support them if a strike came. I still don’t, but I’m glad to see that there is a website with options. You can get updates emailed to you, if you don’t mind that. The site still feels like a work in progress, and presumably it will scale up if there is a strike. Hopefully it won’t come to that, but I’m glad it’s there if there is a need.
Slightly OT, being an angry anti-union trucker appears to be as lonely as being a Republican drinking at the Wildrose during pride week.
I was once kicked out of the Wildrose, during a comedy festival, just for being a man. They wanted to cut loose and tell jokes that they felt they couldn’t, with a gay man in the room.
I find it amusing that the “Truckers Ride for the Constitution” is so far off to a slow start. Once they get out of the bubble, things seem to fall apart. It’s funny to have the comments savaging Fox News for not posting picture of the truckers, cause they are now obviously hiding the news.
