Really, this is Fox News reporting on Palin and how uncooperative and pathetically uninformed she was. This information is coming from the McCain campaign. They are disgusted with her and this shows how dysfunctional the entire campaign was.
Yes – Palin fired up the base but she refused to do the prep needed for even the Katie Couric interview. She did not know that Africa was a continent not a country. And this is coming from Fox news.
All those republicans who excused her ignorance need to see this video – it is Fox news and Cameron is one of the most right wing mouthpieces and even he is talking about what a prima donna she is and how little she knows.
Thank goodness McCain lost – she was a walking time bomb of ignorance. No wonder they would not let the press near her. And those flimsy excuses for being an airhead – I was “annoyed at Katie Couric” – she was flustered and could not answer the most basic questions.
In what respect Charlie? Another example of her trying to bluff her way through basic facts she had no clue about.

You heard that right: Fox Noise kept a lid in relevant information about a candidate for public office until after the election was over, because it was “off the record.”
How does any if this remain “off the record” without Fox Noise being nothing more than the PR arm of the Republican Party?

Just when we thought we’d all been tapped out for campaign contributions, what do we get? A runoff election in Georgia in 4 weeks. I can’t imagine how much money is going to be thrown at that election. (May the best Democrat win.)
Fox is the only fair and balanced network out there. The rest of them are so fuckin’ far in the tank for the Neo-socialist Dipshit Party that it’s fuckin’ embarrassing. Hell, when Saturday Night Live is doin’ a skit about how fuckin’ in the tank the media is for Obama, it’s gotta be bad.

Oregon is a very progressive state.
So why does this come out of Fox News right now? You’d think that they would be trying to keep up the front for her so they could trot her out again in four years (or for a Senate seat).
I’m guessing that the pundit on the radio I heard yesterday had it right. A week before the election, it was clear McCain was going to lose, and a battle had already begun for control of the Republican Party.
Palin had become a folk-hero of the less-educated Evangelical far-right of the Republican party, and was a threat to the corporate and financial interests represented by the Romney faction. They started releasing to the media, as “off-the-record” sources, the reports that McCain campaign operatives were calling her a “diva” and a “crackpot”. In that light, they were already willing to sacrifice any slight glimmer of hope the McCain campaign had left in return for the prospect of fatally damaging the future career of their rival within the Republican Party.
Makes you wonder what they would have done if they had the entire country to play with, doesn’t it?
Now, she may very well be a diva and a crackpot, and her lack of basic knowlege is rather frightening, in light of her near-complete confidence that she already feels that she knows everything that she needs to know. But it’s important to keep track on why this information is coming out now, and who benefits from it’s release.
I wonder if the subtext of this new info on Palin isn’t: “See, women are too stupid to be in any position of power.”

The more important point is why Faux news had to “hide” this information until after the election. So their buddies in the republican party would not lose by even more?
It just shows how in bed with the republicans Faux news is. So much for the claims of media “bias”.
