Teams that can’t win 75% of their games aren’t legitimately playoff calibre…especially when many of the loses are as a result of poor game prep from coaches.
It’s also time to look at the severance package in Tyrone Willingham’s contract with the Huskies. He’s not often right, and he’s always too wordy, but Steve Kelly in The Times has it nailed.

Go Hawks.
Too bad about them Huskies. Who blows a three touchdown lead?

I think letting 12 out of 32 teams into the playoffs is a good balance. Baseball (8 out of 30) is too few and NHL and NBA (16 out of 30) is too many.
I had to wipe the snow off of my satellite dish this morning to get a signal. They should be playing here!

Daddy Love,
The get Arizona again next week, and they could put the division away with a win (depending on what happens today). Either way, with Tampa Bay’s easy remaining schedule, the Seahawks are looking at being the 4th seed this year, which means they get the top wild-card team, which looked like it was definitely gonna be Detroit or the Giants a few weeks ago, but could be anybody now.
I’ve gotta sign off here for a bit because I’m still waiting for my wife to get home from the store to start watching the game…don’t want to know what’s going on in the game yet…damn, my dad just called, something must’ve happened…
Feeley throws TWO interceptions! That’s bad for the Seahawks!

Eagles stopped on 4th & goal from the 1 ft. line at the end of the first half. The Seahawks are doomed.

I just hope that the alumni don’t force Willingham out. Bringing in a new regime now, right when I think the Huskies are finally about to turn the corner, will only guarantee that a team with more than a little promise will be nothing more than mediocre for the next several years.

Seahawks lost to Arizona on a fluke.

A.J. Feeley throws an interception on his first pass. Apparently, that’s a good sign for the Eagles.
