The deadline for registering to vote in the primary is the 6th. So if you’re in King County, you can go here, and if you’re from another county, I guess, you can google it.
Make sure you bring your long-form birth certificate in triplicate (naturalization documents not accepted in lieu of), your passport, military service records, social security work record, five years of utility bills at your present address, letters of reference from three bishops or deacons, and $125 (no checks or coins) for the “voter record maintenance fee,” and be prepared to wait in line for at least six hours and spend three hours taking a “citizenship fluency test;” except if you look white enough and speak perfect English in a southern drawl and have a Rebel flag on your pickup truck, all you’ll need is your Texas driver’s license (doesn’t matter if it’s expired, suspended, or revoked). Oops, never mind, I’m thinking of somewhere else.

And if you don’t vote, may you be fucked by a thousand zombies. Unless you like that sort of thing.

@2 It’s worse — you’ll be fucked by a million Republicans.

Or a million Democrats.

@4 I’m living under a Democratic governor and president right now and I kinda like it.

@5 When I think about the chaotic messes Republican governors have made of their states, it makes me shudder.
The Republican argument du jour is that “religious freedom” exempts public officials from carrying out their public duties if they have a religious objection to what the law requires them to do. We all know the Bibul teaches that blacks are an accursed race and Jews crucified Jesus, so does this mean that a devoutly Christian county clerk can refuse to issue a voter registration or property deed to a black or a Jew because her personal beliefs condone discriminating against blacks and Jews? Bigots, of course, have a constitutional right to believe and worship as they choose, and to advocate their beliefs and opinions — on their own time. They do not have a right to be public servants, and if their public duties conflict with their personal beliefs, they should seek other employment.

Jim Webb has jumped in the race as a Democrat. All you need to know is he supports the confederate flag. Republicans can’t have all the stupid.

@4 At least they give “the common courtesy of a reach around.”

Will conservatives be trumpeting Religious Liberty when someone tries to use Sharia Law as their reason for not doing something?
