4 – I’m not a leftist when I say that that was without a doubt the dumbest, most idiotic post on any blog I have ever read. And that is quite an accomplishment.

3 That’s a little late to have very great effect, unless you consider the possibility of the Postal Service somehow managing to “misplace” large numbers of vote-by-mail ballots.

I agree Pelosi is a wacko, couldn’t believe she would have said that.

I’ve heard that bin Laden has once again changed his appearance.
He is now sporting gigantic eyebrows and a pair of ‘Groucho Marx’ spectacles, replete with bushy moustache.
When emphasizing a point, bin Laden has been observed to crook his arm and jab slightly outward, while holding a lit OWL cigar.

I don’t think even a Bin Laden tape surfacing at any time before this election will be enough to save McCain. They’ve gone to that well too many times, it’s dry now.
Some possibilities, however:
(1) Citing evidence of a massive terrorist attack planned for election day, Homeland Security announces that the election will be postponed by at least one month, to a specific date to be announced sometime in the future. The actual date will be determined by how long it takes McCain to turn around in the polls.
(2) In a variation of #1, specific polls in Democratic precincts will be either opened late or closed early on election day, citing some security threat of one kind or another.
(3) The Treasury Dept. will pump the remainder of the bailout plan money into the stock market on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, buying stocks in a wide range of catagories to stimulate a rising stock market up to the 12,000 level or so. By Wednesday the money will be gone, and without that money propping up the market it will crash.
(4) The Defense Dept. will announce a major victory in Iraq. Another “# 2 man in Al Quida” will be killed. At the same time, the Iraqi government will hold a ceremony transferring control of another province from the U.S. forces (except for, well, the U.S. forces that will continue to control military operations in that province). The Pentagon will announce that another brigade will be leaving Iraq soon because the security situation has improved, neglecting to mention that it was already scheduled to rotate home anyway, and another brigade will take it’s place.

Didn’t the wingnuts say that bin Laden was pulling for the Dems? Yeah, those wingnuts would say something like that.
Ehh… bin Laden? Long forgotten..

rhp6033spews:
YLB @ 14: Yep, the Wingnuts have been trying to say that Bin Laden adn Iran supported Obama, but they shut up on that subject when an Al-Quida site was saying that a McCain presidency would be a great recruiting tool for Al Quida, and it would guarantee U.S. ventures into low-profit wars like Iraq which would only bolster Al Quida and drain the U.S. of resources and lives.

12 A poster on another blog site suggested another possibility: Sarah Palin’s son comes home from Iraq with bin Laden on a leash.
Who knows what’s going on? Now the US military in Afghanistan is trying to make all nicey-nicey with the Taliban. Didn’t McCain spew that big rant about how “we don’t sit down and talk with our enemies”? Apparently the much-heralded General Petraeus thinks otherwise.
