Goldy – Remember to use all the librul talking points about taxes:
1) Don’t call it a tax. Be sure to call it an “smart public investment”.
2) Be sure to say that the tax structure will be “fair”.
3) Make sure that it’s a blend of both sales tax and income tax that is “revenue neutral.”
4) Give iron clad assurances that the rates will NEVER creep up; that’s it’s only to stablize gummint revenue. Taxes would only be raised in an emergency such as building pro sports stadiums.
5) Make mention of the necessity for the “winners of life’s lottery” to “give back.”

No, by civilians, I mean the people who are maimed and die when you drop bombs in an urban area. What the fuck, do you think a bomb knocks on a door, asks to see the “terrorist,” and then takes him a safe distance away before blowing up? You drop a bomb to get one person (and remember that good intelligence is one thing we DON’T have in Iraq) and you kill everyone in a house or in a few houses. At least the ones who aren’t burned in the resulting fires or lose a few limbs in the explosions and collapsing structures.
What a dumbass (you are). The first rule of counterinsurgency, which is what Saint Petraeus is SUPPOSED to be doing there, is to get the population on your side. Random bombing in urban areas is VERBOTEN. You do it by getting to know people, working with them, and by NOT FUCKING THEM OVER BY KILLING THEIR FAMILIES when you want to get at one or more “bad guys.”

Don’t you know that Moqtada al-Sadr ordered his men to stand down because the Dawa and Badr losers of the offensive asked him for peace and agreed to his demands? Not because JAM was getting their “asses kicked;” it was because JAM won and the Iraqi security forces and police refused to fight.

No party has ever asked me what I think “my fair share” is. Why do you suppose that is? Dims want my money so they can bribe the great unwashed, and the Repubs want my money, so they can lower corporate taxes. Me, I make far too much for any kind of “assistance”, and yet not enough to be beyond the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. This despite an income large enough to be considered “rich” by your democrat leadership.
And you wonder why so many of us want our goddamned taxes lowered, and resent the hell out of people who want to take from us, so they can bribe some illegal to vote for them?

How much do you pay for gas?
How much do you pay in mark-up at grocery stores?
How much do you pay for medications?
You can thank the Bush administration for most of those exorbitant fees. Washington state probably charges you less than almost any other state – no income tax and no tax on food – only on the other items you buy.

2) 20% more than I paid on the east coast because of uninsured idiots who can register their car then cancel their insurance and the state don’t care. Each year the donkey kill the uninsured idiot bill.
3) I fill up multiple cars each week
4) Depends on where you shop. PCC and the “Organic” Stores in this state are way more than my sister pays in LA or me bro in lower Manhattan
5) Take supplements so I can stay healthy.
