No wonder the Republicans were making up stories about Michelle Obama ordering lobster, caviar, and champaign from room service! Turns out she never even stayed at that hotel as reported by the wingnuts. A completely false allegation to muddy the waters before the truth about their own extravegant spending comes to light.
It’s 306 to 157 on the electoral college count and Montana and N. Dakota are now in play. I love this.

In the meantime, the DJIA is down again as of almost 9:25 this morning PDT, -282.43 points. Looks like it’s going to continue to see-saw back and forth in the mid-8,000s level for a while.
Fortunately for me, I only get quarterly 401(k) statements. Unfortunately for McCain, lots of people get monthly statements. If they had palpatations after looking at their September statements, they may go into near full-cardiac arrest after reading their October statements. It might be the most effective pro-Obama mailings yet, and the Obama camp doesn’t have to pay a penny for them.

Being Palin’s makeup artist is hard work. They have to apply all that makeup with a trowel.
It must be embarrassing knowing that people will be joking for years about how much it cost Palin to look good.
