Mr. Cynicalspews:
Goldy–
Many thanks for teein’ this one up for me!!
Per today’s Rasmussen:
Palin 47%, Biden 44% in Make-believe Presidential Match-up
Tuesday, September 16, 2008
Sarah Palin bests Joseph Biden 47% to 44% in a hypothetical head-to-head match-up for the presidency, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
Just over half of voters view both of the vice presidential candidates at least somewhat favorably, although 35% rate their opinion of Palin as Very Favorable while only 23% feel that way about Biden.
Sheesh Goldy–Next thread.

Mr. Cynicalspews:
Hey, I made $7200 on NOV and almost $16000 on Wells Fargo….TODAY.
Who says the economy is bad!
Oh and Goldy–
Why not a few threads on the market rebound today?? Only boneheads sold into yesterday’s sell-off…faint of heart. Folks who understand risk-reward saw yesterday as a wonderful buying opportunity.
WHY??
Because the market & economic underpinnings are strong.
You LEFTIST PINHEADED KLOWNS really do like agony. You want the market to go down, want us to lose in Iraq and have high body counts, you attack Sarah Palin cuz she is a mom of 5 including a son headed to Iraq and Down’s Syndrome, daughter got pregnant and didn’t kill her baby………….
Sucks to be sooooooooo negative I’ll bet.
You and I are arguing two different things. You’re arguing that the Palin pick was good politics. That remains to be seen. I’m arguing that it is potential catastrophic should she become president due to McCain’s death or incapacitation… a relatively likely possibility.
It’s curious to see how little you care about the well being of our nation.

4 I noted with some interest today that the space vacated by a Hollywood Video store in Bellevue is now occupied by a shiny new Wells Fargo branch.
Seems to me one doesn’t see a whole lot of banks expanding nowadays. Even keeping in mind “No ma’am….we’re Californians!”
Oh, wait….that was an old WaMu commercial, wasn’t it?
7
ArtFartspews:
4 I’ll repeat (more or less) the response I put in another thread….
No, as a matter of fact, we “LEFTIST PINHEADED KLOWNS” aren’t particularly happy about seeing the carnage on Wall Street, even if it does mean that maybe you RIGHT-WING INCOMPETENT CROOKS will get tossed out of power so we can start undoing the damage you’ve caused for the last eight miserable years.
Even if we did, it wouldn’t be as bad with the glee with which your fucking preznit capitalized on the attacks on 9/11…which he ignored the warnings of the entire intelligence community and did nothing to prevent…
….and then allowed this to happen.

Richard Popespews:
Mr. Cynical,
How much of a fine are you folks in BIAW going to settle with the AG’s office for on that PDC matter? I am thinking between $20K and $40K.
9
westellospews:
Palin fired the police chief in Wasilla when she bacame mayor and then replaced him with a guy who charged rape victims for the OWN rape kits. He was angry that the-then governor of Alaska signed a bill in 2000 to prevent municipalities from doing so. She was mayor for 4 years while her police chief charged for rape kits until the legislation was signed.
So you get raped and you have to pay for your own rape kit and this wonderful mother of 5 thinks this is all good and well.

Richard Popespews:

The bridge across the Knik Arm from Anchorage (1st largest AK city) to Wasilla (4th largest AK city) makes a helluvalot more sense than the Bridge to Nowhere. It would cut commuting times from Wasilla to Anchorage significantly, and also cut the travel time to Fairbanks (2nd largest city in AK) by over half an hour.
The “Bridge to Nowhere” would have connected Ketchikan to its airport, where a ferry is currently used. However, there would have been less than 1,000 people crossing the bridge daily, a small fraction of the estimated traffic on the Anchorage-Wasilla bridge.
Pssst, everyone, bashing Palin isn’t working. To quote Bill Lumbergh from the movie Office Space, “Didn’t you get that memo?”

I am thinking between $20K and $40K.
Sheesh. That’s the cost of “doing business” for BIAW. So they have to forfeit 2 to 4 ad buys for the next election cycle.
The damage is done.
14
ArtFartspews:
12 Really intelligent response, dude. ‘Nuff said.

markspews:
@7 Artfart, hate to break the bad news to you
but your pal Bill Clinton is the guy who started this financial meltdown when he deregulated the financial industry in 1999.
This coupled with the FACT that the heads of
these institutions are loaded to the gills
with liberal CEO’s who have donated 10 times
more money to democrats (payback for Clintons
secret favor Glass-Steigel repeal). This entire disaster lands squarely on the DEMOCRATS.
Obama is the number two recipient from the heads of Fannie and Freddy. NUMBER TWO! You
couldn’t write a better screenplay than this
complete and utter MELTDOWN of the Democrat party. HA HA HA HA. Out of the blue, Pelosi
says “Dont blame me!” HA HA HA HA .
This meltdown is caused by the mortgage crisis. The mortgage crisis was caused by liberals telling banks make home loans to poor people, cuz “poor folks need homes, too.” The only problem is most poor people are bad at math, didn’t realize they wouldn’t have the money to pay back a big monthly mortgage bill. Oops.
I agree with liberals. I believe only liberal, ivy league-educated men, or men who have been in congress more than 30 years should be allowed to be President.
18
markspews:
TROLL , wouldn’t it be fun to compare how
the homeowners who have been foreclosed on
voted in previous elections. Thats a statistic
we could sink our teeth into, I’ll gaurantee it. “Help me Tom Cruise!”

markspews:
Maybe Charlie Rangel could straighten out
Clintons’ legacy that is unfolding before our eyes. HA AHA HAAHHAHAH.
I am scared of rural people. They should know their place. They should not be a part of running our country. They should not be elected to any high office. They should be waitresses in diners, or better yet, stay home and raise babies. It’s wrong for them to lead people like me. People who went to expensive colleges. I only want to be ruled by other people who went to expensive colleges, and live in big cities, provided they are liberal.
21
YLBspews:
Shame on Bill Clinton for signing bills authored by Phil Gramm!
Shame on him!
Pfft.. Nice try wingnuts…

I don’t think the BIAW will ever pay a fine. They will pass it off on their Worker’s Compensation Fund as “overhead”, and then just deny the claims of a few more injured workers.
“You’re not hurt, you are just malingering! Trying to submit a fraudulent claim, are you??? Now pick yourself up and get back to work. And while you are at it, pick up that leg and take it with you!”
Crusader spews:
Just want to point out that Gov Palin supports building another more expensive bridge to Wasilla:
Bridge Boondoggle
This is a HUGE weapon for Democrats.
