“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate,” Peter Carr, a Mueller spokesman, said Friday night in a statement.

Who said the Buzzfeed sources have anything directly to do with the SCO or Mueller?
The SCO does not leak. Not one single time in over 18 months. On the other hand SDNY are historically media whores. That office broke out Cohen in the first place, oversaw the midnight raids of his homes and offices, and landed his guilty pleas for the perjury at the heart of this reporting.
Republicans still can’t grasp that they lost control of this investigation tne minute substantial portions of it were transfered outside the SCO, especially all the elements related to the family business. The last twelve months concentrating all their fire on Mueller left SDNY unscathed, and apparently feeling unnoticed.

What his office criticized as inaccurate was “BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony.” How you interpret that is up to you, but let’s be clear that it’s you, not Mueller, who is calling the story itself crap.
