Until now, former Clinton associates were unwilling to discuss the events for publication. But that changed in the wake of the #MeToo movement, in which dozens of men have been fired or suspended for sexual misconduct.
This account was based on interviews with eight former campaign officials and associates of Clinton. (Link @ 2)

2) When that bill was brought to the floor of the Senate in July of 2011, how many Republican Senators voted against extending the term of the FBI director?
3) When that bill was brought to the floor of the House of Representatives four days later how many Republican Representatives voted against extending the term of the FBI director?

FedEx Committing More Than $3.2 Billion in Wage Increases, Bonuses, Pension Funding and Expanded U.S. Capital Investment Following the Passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act
http://about.van.fedex.com/new.....-157378461
Over $200 million in increased compensation, about two-thirds of which will go to hourly team members by advancing 2018 annual pay increases by six months to April 1st from the normal October date. The remainder will fund increases in performance- based incentive plans for salaried personnel.
A voluntary contribution of $1.5 billion to the FedEx pension plan to ensure it remains one of the best funded retirement programs in the country.
And a large capital expenditure in Indianapolis although that probably was in the works beforehand.
But still.
As more and more companies reference the tax law as the stimulus of their wage increases – increases not mandated by anyone – Democrats will have a harder and harder time coming up with credible excuses for opposing it.

Amnesty for 1.8 million Demorats might sound good, but it’s a trick. Undocumented Demorats face many barriers to voting, many are not allowed to vote at all. We need at least 10 million Demorats to cover those losses. Mexico is the logical place to get them, Mexico has plenty of Demorats and is willing to send us all we need. And it’s handy, right next door, even low-income Demorats without vehicles can get here. But a border wall would obstruct the free flow of Demorats, so I won’t allow it. The Special Counsel may be disciplined or removed from office only by the personal action of the Attorney General. The Attorney General may remove a Special Counsel for misconduct, dereliction of duty, incapacity, conflict of interest, or for other good cause, including violation of Departmental policies. The Attorney General shall inform the Special Counsel in writing of the specific reason for his or her removal.
As the current Attorney General has publicly recused himself from this specific investigation there would be a pretty substantial constitutional crisis if he tried to fire THIS Special Counsel. And since it has to be in writing he’d need pretty iron clad proof of actual misconduct or conflict of interest. “I didn’t like the way the investigation was going.” well you could try that but you think the Administration’s approval numbers are bad now just wait til everyone starts reporting that Trump fired Meuller because he had 2 Guilty Pleas, two indictments, Jerod and Don Jr well in his sights and possibly the President for charges.

Really. And a Roypublican Congress will do absolutely nothing to stop him. Sure, a few people will quit. And some of them might even know a thing or two that could hurt the Roypublicans and their efforts to kill the treason investigation. But that won’t matter. Because the investigation will be closed. The expression “constitutional crisis” is really just a media phrase intended to gin up viewer attention. But a court cannot act without a prosecution. And only the DOJ can carry this case forward if Mueller is fired. And he will be.
I know there’s lots of talk about Schneiderman doing something. But a state AG cannot prosecute a 1001 case or a federal obstruction case. Nor can he indict a sitting President unless the Congress impeaches him first. And that is not going to happen. And don’t kid yourselves that the 63 million ignorant drooling meat bags who voted for this disgrace of a man will be the least bit bothered by any of it. They will be back in three years ready to vote against the Democrat no matter what and no matter who that is. That is who they are. Nothing will persuade them. The only pathway out of this is to get every single goddamn person everywhere with a pulse to get off their asses and vote. Roypublicans know this. That’s why they spend almost all their time either trying to demoralize Bernie Bros or trying to prevent poor people from voting. Their whole approach to winning elections is to freak out their base and depress voting among the broad cross section of loyal American patriots not addicted to crushing pills and drinking Sterno.

@24 Read the fine print.
“Package delivery company FedEx Corp said on Friday it will spend more than $3.2 billion on wage increases, bonuses, pension funding and capital investment, taking advantage of the U.S. tax overhaul signed into law in December. [Notice how they lumped capital investment, pension funding, and wage increases together to make the workers’ share look bigger.]
“The Memphis, Tennessee-based company said it would invest $1.5 billion to significantly expand its hub in Indianapolis over the next seven years and modernize and enlarge its Memphis SuperHub. The new tax code allows companies to immediately write off the full value of capital costs, which helps make projects more financially attractive ….
“FedEx … also said it would contribute $1.5 billion to an employee pension plan. The company plans more than $200 million in higher compensation ….”
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-fedex-taxreforms/fedex-commits-3-2-billion-to-raise-pay-expand-hubs-after-u-s-tax-overhaul-idUSKBN1FF1X2
Roger Rabbit Commentary: So the workers will get $0.2 billion of that $3.2 billion, divided thusly: $1.5 billion for capital investment, on which the corp gets an immediate huge tax writeoff. Another $1.5 billion for pension contributions which presumably would have been made anyway because they’re a legal obligation. That leaves, um, $200 million for “wage increases AND bonuses,” of which probably the lion’s share is one-time bonuses, to keep slaves who haven’t received a raise in years from jumping ship in today’s more competitive labor market, raises they would have gotten without the tax bill, because profit-driven companies pay what they must for labor and not a penny more.
If you really want to get a piece of this tax cut gravy train, buy their stock. It’s up almost $20 a share this month. Investors know damn well who’s really going to get FedEx’s tax cut windfall, and it ain’t the workers.

And that’s not to even mention doing nothing whatsoever to stop Russian interference in our elections or all the fascists, white supremacists and Nazis who have been inspired to believe their day to rule America has finally come.
No, Doctor, that’s too high a price you want our nation to pay so you can have a tax cut.

Or he lets his dog run free and the hound regularly takes dumps in the next door tomato plants. The kind of thing that isn’t illegal at all but is kind of dickish.
They have a few too many Barley Pops at the cul-de-sac summer potluck and get into it and then walk away but then one day, probably after a drink too many the neighbor sees Rand unhitch the boat trailer in front of his house and just loses it.

Mueller is unable to tie the Russian hackers to the Russian intelligence community, the Russian Intell community to Putin and the direct ties between Putin and Trump. And there is plenty to suggest Putin would have done much the same no matter which Republican candidate ran (maybe not Romney, though his opinions on Russia seem to be very current, perhaps the 80’s sent his polices back to the future.) Not one Russian has been arrested and charged. The weakest link the hackers may have been revealed, but they are out of Mueller’s reach, sort of a Israelis style operation.
So we do have what is essentially a witch hunt where no actual crime has occurred. Perhaps a fictional crime occurred. We don’t prosecute fictional crimes in this country at least not since Salem put a black mark on such prosecutions by a prosecutor. And remember they were successful prosecutions. And part of it was these witches were covering something up, and being human beings some or most probably were, particularly in a real Puritan community, and torture was used as well.
On the other hand with Hilliary Clinton and the e-mails and classified information there is clear evidence of a crime, though if the information was originated in the ‘State Department old Hilliary could have just ordered it to be declassified, guess that was too much work and effort. There is evidence that a crime occurred. There was an investigation based on that evidence, and maybe not or maybe it should have been prosecuted, and it’s so odd how some of the same names show up in there as investigators and justice department officials and show up in the Russian investigation. Isn’t it time for Mueller to just come out and tell us no crime occurred? That there is nothing here? Or at least nothing that can be prosecuted and no honest and ethical prosecutor would touch it? Mueller could just punt at this time and end this charade. Maybe there is a cover up but if it’s for crimes having nothing to do with his mandate then he should shut down his investigation, or he’s been given too broad of an investigation.
Or perhaps since this is all political in nature and since it’s the President then Congress should be 100% in charge of any investigation, ect. After all Congress would have to act because the Justice Department cannot prosecute a sitting President. If that would kill the investigation because the Republican’s run Congress then that is the way the dice fell. Maybe next cycle, Hell if Congress doesn’t like the President’s hair they can impeach, and remove the man for high crimes and misdemeanors. So don’t go out and dye your hair orange if the Dems get in. Though they are not going to have the ability to remove Trump from office. So it’s all a charade. Unless everyone just loves Vice President Pence. You a Pence lover?

76,
you’re lying.
There. That was easy, wasn’t it.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
And in case you aren’t paying attention (of course you aren’t) you and your fellow Russian stooges are losing this argument, among yourselves:
You should be ashamed or yourself. But it’s obvious that isn’t something you’re capable of. He’s probably the most honest FBI director in the agencies history, an opinion widely shared by Democrats and Non-TrumpFucked-Republicans alike. This smear campaign directed at some of the hardest working and most respected American law enforcement professionals is your Black Lives Matter moment. All across America people who are not treasonous Trumpanzees are disgusted with you, your party, and your President.
And while you ponder that keep in mind that not one single Democrat participated in any part of bringing this investigation about in the first place. This is a Republican endeavor. A Republican Special Prosecutor. A Republican FBI Director fired by a Republican President over the objections of dozens of Republicans including a Republican AG, a Republican Deputy AG, and a Republican WH Counsel. And another Republican was appointed to replace him. The Republican AG recused himself on his own initiative in accordance with the law. A Republican Deputy AG appointed a Republican Special Prosecutor. And every single guilty plea and every indictment handed down so far has been on a Republican.
Are you noticing any pattern here, Shortbus?
