Washington doesn’t have a mask mandate anymore. I see a lot of people on Twitter saying that Seattle people are still mostly masked up. I didn’t feel that, but Pike Place Market is my grocery store, and it’s tough to tell who is local, and who is a tourist. Other than that, I didn’t get out much during the weekend. I wish I saw more masks,in general, though.
I am wearing a mask as I write this, but it’s still required on public transportation. I will still wear it at work, but I don’t know how universal that will be.
Anyway, please wash your hands right now. And get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

That’s not how the mind of the degenerate works.
When you and I and other healthy individuals experience defeat and loss we process it as a form of punishment – either the removal of a positive stimulus or the introduction of a negative stimulus. We experience it for what it is, and we look for opportunities to learn from it, by looking for ways to avoid the punishment. We associate the punishment with the operant behavior that elicited it to begin with. And we focus our learning on changing that behavior.
But the degenerate mind is unique with respect to mild forms of punishment within a narrow range of eliciting behaviors. If circumstances can be arranged to produce a powerful anticipation of reinforcement, rather than of punishment, then the degenerate will experience at least initially mild punishment as either mild reinforcement or neutrally. Behavior becomes compulsive over time and increasingly resistant to modification.

PooTin’s folly is so great, and his weakness so overwhelming, that having resorted to bombing maternity hospitals and dropping thermobaric munitions over civilian shelters, he is now turning to chemical and biological weapons agents.
Meanwhile the GOP’s loyalty and commitment to PooTin remains so overpowering that they still must defend and promote him.
A crucial element of Biden’s plan for success against PooTin includes the imperative that Ukraine, and European and NATO allies be seen as having defeated him. If PooTin’s aggression is defeated, and the U.S. is seen or credited with bringing that about, then PooTin survives intact and remains in power inside Russia.

Degen just got done bitching about “weakness” and fucking airplanes.
The airplanes: the deal was not particularly wise to begin with. It wasn’t going to contribute much to Ukraine’s defenses. Biden was willing to go along so long as Poland delivered. But when Poland changed the deal without warning to transferring the aircraft to the U.S. and then having us deliver them to Ukraine it was dead. And that’s good. We can’t be in the lead. Not if we hope to achieve lasting improvements to European security.
Right now, Every Republican You Know is trying to figure out some way to be seen as taking the lead in “defending Ukraine” while somehow simultaneously sucking PooTin dick and giving away strategic and tactical advantages. It’s grotesque. And nine out of ten other presidents of either party would fall into the same trap.
Right now the pressure on Biden to turn this conflict in Europe to a political advantage at home is overwhelming. And the simplest and easiest way to do that would be to run out to the front of the parade, pushing other European leaders aside. He’s literally a better human being than that. It may cost us the mid terms. But it may gain us a secure, stable, and prosperous Europe into the rest of the century.
Never forget, not for one instant, that only weeks ago these shit stains were calling for an end to NATO.

He also has a budget to work within. Congress didn’t pass $6B of USPS subsidy in the BBB. Meaning the USPS doesn’t have the money to pay Democrat donors who are heavily invested in heavily subsidized EV technology.
Hell, if I had budgeted $150,000 for a truck I could have bought anthing on the market. Instead we budgeted $80k for a diesel 3/4 ton truck and a trailer. We’re very happy with both, and we paid a little less than we had planned. Paid about $1,000 less sales tax by buying in Chehalis than we would have had we bought in Seattle. 8.2% rate there. We’re on a steep-ish hill. We went for the torque. We’re happy.

A condition of his release on those charges was that he leave DC. Instead he violated those conditions, remained in DC and attended the meeting to reassure Oath Keepers that their operational plans for the following day remained secret. Probably not paying much for tags. Vehicles over 6000 lbs GVW only pay a scale weight fee. I have a large truck comparable to what Dumbfuck has, my tags are about $100.
Sort of ironic that the bigger and heavier the vehicle, the less it pays.
Never the less, he overpaid for a vehicle that pretty much just sits and rots.
And he wants us to think he some sort of investing guru. Bwaaahhaaahhaaa……

91,

It’s not the vehicle classification, Newt. It’s the County. Island County isn’t Sound Transit territory. Island County and our ages also mean lower insurance rates, too. I almost never hear of thefts. The number of motorcycle fatalities seems high, tho.

If and when the Fed gets serious about inflation there is going to be massive pain.
I have sold a lot of covered calls in the past month.

Look up the RCWs Dumbfuck.

I live in an RTA area (in urban King County), and I tell you I don’t pay that for my truck. My car, yes; truck, because it is over 6000 lbs, I only pay a scale fee.
My most recent renewal: 3 charges, A) Registration fee $4.50 B) Gross Weight $93.00 C) Service fee $8.00
Again, you are fucking full of shit and you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
Motorcycles are Darwin’s device to help cull the herd. Besides, on Whidbey Island, there is the central road full of doddering old fools like you pulling horse trailers and not paying attention.
Newt Hoenikker spews:
@95 continued
So Dumbfuck, if you follow the link to RCW 46.17.355 the fees are specified (my truck has a registration weight of 6500 lbs), even you can follow the table and see the where my stated Gross Weight fee of $93.00 is in black and white.
Vicious Troll spews:
@ 95, 96
You make the mistake of assuming I give a shit, Newt. We pay what we’re charged by the state when we renew our tabs, and we don’t give it a second thought. Five vehicles, four with 4WD, and two motorcycles. Three trailers. It costs what it costs – maybe $1,000-1,200/year for all of it. If there’s one fee that is different because of the size of the vehicle and not just because there’s no Sound Transit assessment, then I guess you’ve got me on that one.
Diesel fuel is cheaper here, IIRC, because of a tax that isn’t levied in Island County. Maybe I’ve got that wrong, too, and you can build yourself up by pointing out my error to me on that one, Big Guy.
We save a little money by buying diesel fuel from the Farm Supply for our farm implements, in Oak Harbor. There are two diesel pumps, one without the highway tax. I think that fuel is dyed to prevent avoidance of the tax by highway-use vehicles.
Vicious Troll spews:
Double digits, bitches.
Vicious Troll spews:
I guess the reason I didn’t think I was special the way Newt thinks he is special because his truck’s GVWR is > 6,000# is because I never gave it a thought.
But I just looked online, and each of our three 4WD vehicles has a GVWR > 6,000#.
This news to me, therefore, must make me three times as special as Newt.
And the RTA fee isn’t charged to our two passenger vehicles, either.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
97,
Complains incessantly about higher fees and costs he never pays.
Then gets caught.
Then moves the goal post to “WhoCaresistan“.
Then ejects copypasta squid ink to cover his escape.
This is classic degenerate.
WRONG as fuck. But perceives it as a close call.
So #WINNING!
In the end, all we can do is point and laugh.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
Hasn’t stopped trembling and white-knuckling $30/mo for weeks now.
Not a single day passes that it doesn’t complain.
It is crushed under this burden.
We must all try to understand and to offer some pity for the poor thing. True, this is a financial trap of its own making. A lifetime of poor, risky, and undoubtedly impulsive decisions made “without a thought” have brought it to this difficult passage. But I’m confident Degen can get through this somehow. I can only hope these words will ease its immense suffering.
Newt Hoenikker spews:
@99
You give a shit because you bothered to look up your vehicles.
I know about the fee because I was surprised that my car was much more than my truck and wondered why. I also know the reason why there is a break at 6000 lbs, but won’t bother to tell you because you “don’t care”
You are a real piece of work Dumbfuck. You got caught and we all know it. All we can do is point and laugh.
I almost feel sorry for Mrs. Dumbfuck, she definitely married down. I pity the horse tho.
What a clown you are.

“Interrogators at the site, known both as Cobalt and ‘the Salt Pit,’ went beyond the CIA’s guidelines in torturing Baluchi, the documents reveal, testing techniques and their effectiveness without the agency’s approval.”

Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
Really? Credible?
I don’t think that word means what you think it means.
“Who is this person? Why hasn’t he been charged?
That’s a very simple ask!”
He’s a 24-year-old St. Louis area resident with cognitive delays who paints his face red and jogs around the outside of Cardinal’s Stadium to show his team spirit, and who has now been forced into hiding by the conspiracy theory created by fools like Carlson. He hasn’t been charged because he is not believed to have committed any crimes on the day of the Republican terror attack on Congress.
I guess he went to the Capitol that day because he lives on SSI and disability and his time is his own. He had nothing better to do. He is obviously very starved for attention and companionship. And the rally at the White House must have looked like a good opportunity. He must also be a Trump supporter. But so is every single other cognitively delayed voter. No crime in that.
Let’s not add to his misery.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@100 “Complains incessantly about higher fees and costs he never pays.”
See, that’s the difference between him and me, I don’t complain about fees I don’t pay.
But he’s a Republican, and Republicans also constantly complain about taxes they don’t pay, so I guess kneejerk whining is just compulsive with them or something.
You don’t hear me whining about taxes I don’t pay. I do see Warren Buffett complain about taxes he doesn’t pay and thinks he should pay. Doctor Dumbfuck is no Warren Buffett.
Roger Rabbit spews:

There’s a difference. You’ll see it in 20 years, when YLB’s kids are still struggling to make ends meet as a result of YLB’s votes. She’s voted with devastating consequences for her children.
It’s hard to contemplate that without smirking. Really, no use trying not to smirk.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
Here’s what police say:
That an anonymous caller reported hearing gunshots.
That they canvassed the neighborhood and smelled marijuana.
That they found a small bag with a trace amount of suspected marijuana discarded on the ground outside the home.
Here’s what they did:
They amassed a force of twelve officers and their vehicles from across the entire jurisdiction. Every single on-duty officer reported to the scene in this small town.
They forced entry into the private home without a warrant.
The subdued, arrested, searched and charged every single person present in the house. Sixty five persons in all, ranging in ages from 15 to 31, were arrested and booked.
A local prosecutor and a local judge held all 65 without bond for two weeks.
Here’s what the evidence showed:
There was no report of a gunshot.
There was no marijuana present inside the home.
There were no guns present.
No crime of any kind had been committed by 64 of the 65 persons arrested.
One of those arrested, upon being searched, was to found to have a very small amount of cocaine in his possession.
All 65 of those arrested were Black.
All 12 of the officers, the prosecutor, and the judge were white.
In the days immediately following the arrest the prosecutor and police bragged to the media that they had broken up a major drug conspiracy in their small community.
Yesterday they were ordered to pay $1 million in damages to the 64 persons they unlawfully arrested and prosecuted four years ago.
What you see on television is not real.
This is what police actually do most of the time.
Roger Rabbit spews:

“EVs make money for rich people at the expense of poorer people.”
i don’t see how. I agree with you on solar, since they force those without solar to pay more to cover the utilitie’s costs. But EVs won’t increase the price of gas, since its a market driven commodity, if anything they will reduce it. So no its not a regressive tax. Economies of scale will ultimately bring down the cost of EVs, and they will be cheaper, easier to maintain, perform better and be much cleaner.
