I realize that this is a long shot, but does anyone know where in Seattle you can watch the women’s FA Cup tournament matches? My team, Ipswich Town, are doing surprisingly well. They’re in the 4th tier of the Women’s FA but are down to the round of 16. It would be nice to see a full game rather than highlights.
A few years ago when the men’s team were in the semifinals of the FA Cup, it was on at some pubs. But this feels a bit tougher to find. I couldn’t figure out streaming it in the US, but maybe I missed something.

And I see they are publishing a partial schedule on their website. So worth a shot. If it doesn’t conflict they might consider flipping a screen. And if anyone would know the schedule and stream it would be them, I think.

This stuff is straight from “Q”. He’s actually arguing that John Bolton is controlled by “The Left”, that Comey and Bolton are involved in a conspiracy, and that all of this surrounds some sort of master coup d’etat being arranged to put Romney in the White House.
And so here’s the thing: most of this is BugFuck. But that doesn’t matter, really. Just like with “The Big Lie” of Goebbels that RR mentioned in the last thread, the point isn’t to make GOP dullards and mouth breathers actually believe that Mitt Romney is backing a coup d’etat. The point is to get them believing that all of this is being done to them by “others” who are “the enemy”. And for that you need some graphics! It’s enough if the dumbshits simply land on that vagueness and nothing more.
But again, this is entirely an #owngoal. Just like with Comey. Just like with Mueller. They are doing it all to themselves by themselves. And all it takes for the beatings to go on and on is for them to continue to support Trump. Which they really no longer have any choice about. The GOP won’t let them have a primary. They won’t even give them a place to write in Gary Johnson (or Tulsi or whatever). Trump is it. And with Trump comes all of this baggage, corruption, and self-harm.

Now when you’ve had a chance to recover after graying-out while laughing along, consider this: as I pointed out yesterday, Pompeo had all the emails we saw. He knew what he had agreed to. He knew Kelly’s long standing practice of never pre-configuring an interview on policy. He knew that he would face questions about Ukraine. This was a set up that was planned well in advance. Kelly and NPR were selected for this. And the intention of all that planning and preparation has less to do with “playing to their credulous Boomer rube demo” and much more to do with shutting down media accountability over The Republican Drug Deal.
Part of how that works is by this sort of collective pearl-clutching and fake outrage percolating through the trailer-idiot sub-culture. It’s enough for Trump and Republicans if reporters and producers are instructed to handle the topic with “sensitivity”. It works very nicely for them if the aftermath of what was essentially a huge lie that was all set up well in advance includes an argument about “elitism” and “arrogance” in the media.
