The lady in question needs to attend Financial Peace University or read my books and follow the advice. So many people are borrowing money to get degrees in subjects tha will not generate the funds to re-pay the loans and provide an adequate standard of living.
Paradoxically, education is the problem: no where in the school system or in the college system are people taught how debt works. A little financial education in high school and college would do a lot to improve the lot of people who want to be educators or major in fields with low earning potential.
