SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah man has been arrested on accusations he threatened to kill members of Congress during a three-year stretch with more than 2,000 phone calls to the U.S. Capitol and profanity-laden tirades about Democrats threatening the presidency of Donald Trump.
In one call last month, Scott Brian Haven dialed the office of an unnamed U.S. representative and purported to be standing right behind him and ready to “shoot him in the head” because “the Russians want him taken out because he is trying to remove a duly elected President,” according to charging documents unsealed Wednesday.

When most of us have no other option but to stand to one side and look on in passive wonder and amusement at the self-immolating shit-storm that has engulfed the GOP, it can be easy to miss when we are making progress. So I like to pause and recognize these moments.
It is worthy of some note that, in response to their id programmers at NewsCorp, Teh Dumbfuck along with most of the other 63 million RapeCage vote base have rather abruptly switched from arguing that there is no basis upon which to conduct impeachment, to arguing that impeachment is not removal from office. We flipped that switch in only five months. I think that’s pretty good.

CNBC studied the net changes by industry for May jobs based on the data from the Labor Department contained in the jobs report. The government said the U.S. economy added just 75,000 jobs last month, far fewer than the 180,000 increase expected by economists polled by Dow Jones.
However dramatic the fall off in hiring was in May, it’s part of a larger trend suggesting that the labor market has cooled from last year, when tax cuts provided a short-term lift.
Friday’s report also revised employment data for April and March downward by a total of 75,000 jobs.

ADP had estimated 27,000 jobs, so it was nearly triple that figure.
There’s also the U-6 number, which was quite positive, down from 7.3% to 7.1%.
Job growth is harder to achieve when 1) the economy is already close to full employment and 2) employers are having trouble finding qualified applicants.
Keep trying to criticize a strong economy for taking a bit of a breather. It’s still positive, just not as barn-burning positive as in previous months. 17 more months of job data like that released today and it’s Four More Years for Orange Man Bad.
