First off, do the maximum judicial stuff. Add 100 seats to the Supreme Court. Strip the lower courts of power, replace them with a different system, and fill that with liberal judges. The whole 9 yards.
While this is happening, propose an amendment to the Constitution. Many states have commissions or other means of making judicial appointments fair. Pick the best one and adopt it. It also fires all judges except for cases they are working on. If Republicans want a cease fire, they can pass the amendment, if not at least there will be a liberal court for a while.

RNC and Trump2020 (the two are one and the same) election day operations this year will be fronted on the ground by 50,000 volunteer “poll watchers” being sent to confront and obstruct voting in largely minority and urban voting locations in key battleground states. About five thousand of them will be off-duty police. Many others are lawyers of course. And quite a few are gun-humper “open carry” loons who will be present at targeted polling places in battleground states largely for the purposes of sowing chaos, creating disturbances, frightening voters, and performing for the media, who will dutifully “get the shots” and amplify the messages of chaos, violence, and terror.
Meanwhile the lawyers and paralegals will be making individual challenges to voters and ballots across the board. The purpose is to get hundreds of thousands of ballots set aside, counted separately, or not counted at all, at least initially. Then if the numbers are close enough initially they head to court to prevent or at least delay the counting of the challenged ballots.
This is just the initial prong of an all-out assault on voting and democracy planned by the RNC. But it will be crucial. It will lay the ground work for the delay they need so that in the weeks that follow subsequent maneuvers legal and not-so-legal can unfold.
This is war. Democrats must be prepared. And as with any battlefield the key to defending your position is to react with lightning fast speed to the point of assault and turn back the initial assault, giving time to bring reinforcements. In this case that will mean that elections officials in these local areas have to be in a total and complete take-no-prisoners mindset.
Polling place disrupters must be dealt with swiftly, and yes violently if need be. Supporting law enforcement must be pre-placed and briefed, ready to react, taze, handcuff, and load for transport. This has to be done quickly and efficiently because part of the RNC strategy is based on numbers and waves. If poll workers and officials allow themselves to be drawn into posturing they will quickly be swamped by another wave of poll disrupters.
This means that county officials in these areas must be properly prepared and that coordination with local and state law enforcement agencies pre-arranged. There will be no time to arrange an ad-hoc response to the level and intensity of polling place disruption and violence that the RNC has planned.
But if Democrats do this, if they behave according to their responsibilities to protect the ballot, protect election integrity, and protect voters by acting swiftly and decisively without mercy to stop the disruptions then the subsequent phases of the RNC plan to steal the election for Trump will dissolve and fail.
Why not add 1,000 seats to the Supreme Court? How about 10,000? Oral arguments can be made from the pitcher’s mound at Nationals Park, and arguments concluded with the spitting of chewing tobacco juice onto the mound.
Democrat senators in leadership are hurriedly walking back the concept of court-packing. The last time Democrats blew up the Senate, McConnell warned them of consequences, they did it anyway, and – guess what? – there were consequences.

If Biden wins the election, and especially if he wins it with a large popular vote margin, and gerrymandered Republican legislatures override voters and substitute Trump electors, and Supreme Court justices appointed by Trump overrule the House of Representatives’ rejection of those electors, I suspect there will be riots. I suspect those legislators and justices will be subjected to severe harassment, and their lives might even be in danger. It could even lead to civil war.
That’s not what I want, and I won’t condone, much less encourage, any of that. But I won’t lift a finger to stop it. I’m too old to participate in civil disorder even if I wanted to, and I don’t want to. I’m only an observer, and all I’ll be able to do is say, “I told you so.”
The right and proper thing to do, of course, is to respect our country’s democratic values and the will of its people. In short, all of that can be avoided by doing the right thing after all the votes are counted. This is especially true since anything you say to the police, intentional or not, that serves to mislead them, even if the mistake is their fault, will be taken as intentional. It will feature prominently in the affidavit. Prosecutors will consider you a liar. And the lying will be taken as evidence supporting your guilt. If they can make charges, even barely, they will go. And your lying will be featured at trial. They will walk the jury through whatever evidence they’ve got. They’ll use that to build their theory of the crime and your role. They’ll go through the facts and the evidence and they’ll highlight where your false statements differ. They’ll show how your lies protected you (as if). They’ll find someone to take the stand and call you a liar in frontof the jury. And you’ll have to just sit there quietly. You won’t get to respond until after the prosecution rests and the defense presents. And then you’ll be forced to take the stand and subject yourself to cross. Something your lawyer wants to avoid.
Now consider the police who killed Miss Breonna Taylor. In the aftermath of her murder they lied about her. They called her a drug mule, a courier, and they claimed her home was a stash house. None of that was true. Police had no such evidence. They were just dead wrong about all of it. But they said it anyway. To protect themselves.
Police claimed that a US postal inspector had informed that that drug packages had been received at the home. But the US Postal Inspection service has testified that there is no such report. And no postal official has been identified who can corroborate the claim. The police made it up. To get a warrant. That they used to kill her. They lied. To protect themselves.
Under oath, with a lawyer to advise them, the police said they knew ahead of time that the home was a “soft target” with no pets or children and no threat anticipated. Thus, they claim, they knocked and announced. But they came equipped for a hard target raid with battering rams, hardened entry breaching tools, flash bang grenades, heavily armed and described by their large backup team as “a very heavy manpower operation”. Police reports say the police fired sixteen rounds during the murder. Independent forensics say twenty two rounds were identified, eight of them striking Miss Breonna Taylor. Again the police lied. To protect themselves.
Any other perpetrator facing any other prosecutor this sends it to a jury. Why? Because they lied. Because lying calls their credibility into question. And because lying raised doubt about anything else you may rely on in deciding if they should indict. This should have gone to a jury as a homicide charge of some kind. Each of them would have a good defense, and the opportunity to make that defense to a jury at trial. And if their defense was good enough, if their credibility as witnesses was good enough, then they’d have the same chance as any other defendant of acquittal.
But instead, the people’s prosecutor argued their defense for them in front of a grand jury. He told us so right in front of all those cameras as he argued their defense for them a second time. Cameron did as he was told. Like any good Nazi would.

Neither ballistics reports nor Taylor’s autopsy have been released publicly, but Taylor’s death certificate from the state Registrar of Vital Statistics has been released. It lists her cause of death as “multiple (5) gunshot wounds of the body.”
On Wednesday, Cameron said the investigation shows Taylor was shot six times. He noted the sixth “projectile” was lodged in one of Taylor’s feet.
It has been reported repeatedly that the one LEO charged fired 10 times, and there is no evidence that any of his rounds struck Taylor. If she was struck six times, then a minimum of 16 rounds were fired, the incompetent cop’s 10 and six that found their target. It’s possible for 16 rounds to create 22 holes in stuff.
