I hope you enjoyed the storm. It was rather fun to watch, but it did delay the Reign FC game I was at for longer than we were able to wait. It seems like a good lightning storm is becoming more common in the Puget Sound area than it was when I was growing up. Maybe that’s perception, but I think of those sorts of storms as an East Coast phenomenon.

And so far the org responsible for publishing it (owned by the author) has nothing to add. So we are left to wonder if “involving a child” meant that a child was killed outright, injured when another person was killed, present when another person was killed, or indirectly related to another person who was killed.
    Meh.

    Well, we’ll all just have to pretend that bad science can lead to good outcomes. ‘Cause after all, that’s what doctors do nearly every fucking day. So let’s all just pretend that it was fifteen children actually killed by lawnmowers every year in the US.

    Compare that to one thousand three hundred children killed by firearms. And almost 6000 treated for gunshot wounds.

    GOP logic hasn’t changed. Sobbing Guatemalan four-year-olds in dirty diapers are an existential threat to the United States. While an emotionally unbalanced ego-maniacal dictator with a documented history of gunning down his family members with heavy machine guns who routinely launches ICBMs across the Pacific is NO THREAT.

    This move I agree with. Re-bid the rolling stock contract for the Center City Connector. One of the reasons they went with CAF USA was the issues with the second order from INEKON.     The issue the second order with Inekon had was modification for wireless operations. The Liberty has that capability, and is running in OKC, Detroit, Dallas, Milwaukee, and on order for TACOMA, Portland, and Tempe.
