So the Roypublican theory of Rapey McPrivilege’s innocence is politically calculated to keep their voters on board by asking of them only that they be lazy, which for most comes naturally. They don’t want them to think too carefully about how all this is supposed to work. Because it really doesn’t.

Plus, there will always be people like you who are more than willing to put thugs like them up on a pedestal, for whatever you hope to gain from it.
But there are answers for everything, and if one thing doesn’t work, you try another. Party labels are sticky core identity traits. Abandoning a party label takes radical personal transformation and reassessment of core values. We wont know until after these mid terms. But if even a relatively small percentage of Roypublican women abandon the label it can have a dramatic and permanent effect.
