One very interesting potential strategy in the upcoming mids is ripe for testing. Orange County will have three Hillbilly-Traitor party seats poised to flip. In this case all three Hillbilly-Traitors kissed the giant orange ass and voted to murder sweet, beautiful, innocent, little Billy Kimmel yesterday. A sustained, and focused blitz of registration drives, GOTV, and targeted ground game could move three seats for the price of one. Similar opportunities exist in a few other urban areas, like Chicago. Any good exterminator will tell you that starting out it’s more cost effective to focus on applying the poison where the vermin are concentrated.

Since only one Republican from Washington state voted for the bill it just shows how entrenched the Democratic party is in this state. And the one Republican who voted for it will have to problem getting reelected in 2018. Where the other ‘Republican’s who could have the voters turned voted against or declined to vote. Didn’t matter as the Republican’s had a majority, and frankly had placed themselves in the trap of damned if they did do this and damned if they didn’t. It’s ridiculous that Americans pay three times as much for health care and get crappier results than the rest of the industrialized world. You have to tackle the problem from both sides and that may well indeed mean the government doing health care. And describing health care as a market as many do is more than disingenuous as it does not operate as any other market does. Having a broken leg, heart failure, cancer, ect is not the same thing as needing a toaster or a car as you can live without a toaster or a car. While sci fi the movie “Repomen” of high tech medicine and capitalism gone amuck. Sure it’s science fiction but it’s merely an exaggeration of what was already happening Dick’s day and what is happening today. How many are going to say no to a new heart, kidney, and lungs when all they have to do is sign on the dotted line? Or the family has to make that choice? Even today folks are having to choose between very expensive cancer treatments (or having something for beestings on hand) and eating.
