    There are different ways of measuring success.

    Right now the lead is about 6,000.

    If careful analysis confirms that 5,000 of them are fraudulent and yet Cooper still takes it by 1,000, pretty sure that going forward GOP would be quite happy with proof that 5,000 fraudulent votes were cast in a NC statewide election.

    And Goldy will be secure in the knowledge that American democracy did not end. Rule of law and all.

    What the chart above suggests is the limits of organization. Clinton, like Obama before her, invested massive resources in building voter identification and turnout operations in every swing state. But, unlike Obama, Clinton wasn’t able to supplement that organization with the requisite amount of organic energy and passion for her candidacy.     It’s true some working class voters in Rust Belt states who traditionally voted Democratic went for Trump this year because the Democrats couldn’t save their jobs. The most insidious type of fraud is when the ballot box if stuffed, Done well it’s hard to prove, done poorly it’s usually caught, but it’s done by the county officials in some particular county and counties and there have been such corrupt politicians involved in all of our national elections, and some are Democrats and some are Republicans, and to an extent it’s good there is some corruption as it shows something worth stealing.
