I think some of us may have to head to Iowa and NH to volunteer for Trump. The people from his branding/entertainment empire don’t seem to understand how to organize and assemble a GOTV for the primaries, particularly in caucus states. Trump could draw a ton of primary votes from mail ballot states and blue states. But he’ll need to do credibly well in Iowa if only to dampen support for Cruz. If he doesn’t get good turnout on Super Tuesday it could be the end. There’s still time for his team to assemble the ground game. But the window is closing.

The GOP may be starting to realize it’s going to take another Ralph Nader sucking away liberal votes to get any of their goons into the White House.

Or, for that matter, to be allowed to live in their own country, because it’s absolutely clear Republicans don’t give a damn whether their military actions kill innocent civilians who happen to be brown-skinned Allah-worshippers.
The ISIS militants aren’t as stupid as the typical Republican. They understand what will happen if their 20,000 fighters live in tents on the open plain. So guess what, they’re mingling with the 10 million civilians residing in the territory they control. That’s a ratio of roughly 1 ISIS fighter for every 500 civilians. Now wait for the GOP’s military geniuses to explain how a bombardier in a B-52 or B-1 is gonna pick out the ISIS fighter and bomb him without also blowing up a considerable number of the 500 civilians.
The reasonable inference is they don’t care if their bombs kill a lot of those civilians. So let’s be clear here: That’s what the GOP is asking you to vote for. If you can vote for that with a clear conscience, that’s your problem. I won’t vote for that. Nor do I want a commander in chief who can’t do any better than that at solving perplexing military problems. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are no Ulysses S. Grant, that’s for sure.
