Since this is a local politics blog, ostensibly, I was wondering if y’all have any interest in any local or statewide candidates this cycle. I’m generally pretty big on Angie Marx who I wrote about here, Darcy Burner, who Goldy wrote about, um just do a Google Search, and Tina Podlodowski who we haven’t really written about much, but she’s great. Also, despite my disappointment on charters, I’m still mostly positive on Inslee’s time in office, and will be enthusiastically voting to reelect him.
But I’m probably missing some great candidates. Those are all Western Washington and all white, for instance. So if you’ve got any candidates you’re liking this cycle, this is as good a place as any to drop a line.

Noel Frame, State Representative (36th District) – She gave a pre-speech at Bernie’s rally @ Key Arena, and really nailed it. Definitely one to watch.

Anyone running against Pam Roach for a seat on the Pierce County Council. Yes, she’s set up a new residence in Sumner and is going to bless us with…..ok, not bless……you know what I mean.

Anybody willing to file against Reichert.

@2 What a vile piece of work that one is.

Please bring on the more local stuff and people. I know not much will be about here in the northwest corner. Heck we get to mildly concerned with the Vancouver politics…you know that really big Canadian city just across the border.

Oh and the Taco Cats are super cool. Are they playing at any rallies? The power puff girl anthem will rock any Seattle politicians rally. Apparently the concept of selling out is passé in todays music environment. Though it can suck if your an artist and a particular candidate you don’t approve of has access to your music through the catalog they rent from. A royalty check an artist can’t get no thrill from.
