– Fuck.
– Why would anyone go out of their way to defend Donald Sterling?
– Interesting to read Jean Godden on the renovation of lower Kinnear Park.
– Why are we still pretending waterboarding is a reasonable discussion?

America isn’t a racist country anymore. How do I know? Simple. Now the financier class plunders white people, too. We’re all equal now.

How Much Is $15 An Hour?
A full-time job at $15/hr. pays about $31,200 a year. The 10-year Treasury rate is 2.69%. To earn $31,200 from safe bonds, you need about $1,160,000 of capital. Therefore, a $15/hr. job can substitute for $1.16 million of savings. If you can’t save that much, you can get the same income by working for $15/hr. Doesn’t that make you feel rich?
Roger Rabbit spews:
So torturers do their victims a favor by making sure they can’t die? Which twisted nazi fucktard dreamed up this rationalization?
Roger Rabbit spews:
That sounds like something Sarah Palin would plagiarize from Dick Cheney.

In other news, the great KKK/Bundy screaming looney party revolution going on now down in Nevada has taken a very serious and very crazy turn for the worse.
They’re now apparently blocking the highway, stopping drivers and checking their addresses to have them prove they’re locals. This is seriously fucked up, and now is a direct act of sedition and armed insurrection. These guys are deliberately trying to force an armed confrontation.
Time to bring in the Army. Protecting the National Highway System and United States property is very much the responsibility of the Military. It is the primary reason for that systems existence. Nobody outside of the United States Government has any legal authority whatsoever to do this.
Apparently the BLM is now a “foreign Corporation” owned by the Chinese and the United Nations. So such is their excuse for actively resisting arrest and legal court orders with force of arms.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@5 Read them the Riot Act. You know: “This is an unlawful assembly. You must disperse now.” It’s time for people who get their jollies from watching cops beat up anti-war protesters to get a dose of their own medicine. They’re a lot more subversive than any peacenik ever was.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@5 “Time to bring in the Army.”
It wouldn’t surprise me if some sort of operation is being planned right now. I’d be surprised if there isn’t contingency planning underway that involves the military. At some point the authorities will have to do something about this. We can’t have private militias shutting down highways and taking over government land.
I’m sure DOJ and U.S. Attorneys are involved. I would think they’re assembling secret grand juries and getting sealed indictments as we speak. Any of those yahoos who goes into town for a resupply of beer may find himself being followed by a bunch of black SUVs with tinted windows. He may notice a couple of armored personnel carriers, of the type used by SWAT teams, parked around the corner. He won’t make it back to the Bundy Ranch. The FBI boys will prefer to pick these guys off one by one, like a Marine sniper taking down a Taliban column in the ‘Ghan. The rest they’ll round up like cattle with Airborne Rangers. There may be some shooting. If so, it won’t end well for the secessionists, because you can bet the government men will have backup on standby, including a couple of F-16s armed with cluster bombs.
Deathfrogg spews:
These dudes are completely fucking insane.
Dig around Google for pictures, You’ll see an awful lot of guys with Prison tats. Every single one of them in in direct violation of Federal and State laws regarding firearms possession by convicted felons.
Roger Rabbit spews:
This is what a battle between Uncle Sam and Bundy’s militia would look like.

There’d be no airstrikes. It’d just be a bunch of U.S. Marshals going in with everything they have. Say the KKK Freakos here have around 500 or so individuals. They’d be mopped up in about 3 hours. Uncle Sugar has all the advantages here. Hit them at night, and they’d have no way to fight back. The reality is, most of them doing stupid shit like posting YouTube vids and pictures on Facebook and shit are going to be going to Prison. Serious Men are already perfectly cognizant of who these guys are. Terrorism isn’t defined by nationality. It’s defined by actions taken. And these lunatics fit the bill to a T.

Always remember the racist Donald Sterling loves DUMMOCRETIN politicians only. Isn’t it un-American to take his ownership from him without due process in American courts? Puddy agrees this DUMMOCRETIN Sterling is scum like some HA DUMMOCRETINS! Butt, this sets a precedent eventhough Puddy doesn’t like DUMMOCRETIN racists!
And of course Chris Matthews compares Sterling to Romney. Is there anything PSMNBC DUMMOCRETINS will not say? No wonder their ratings smell like the posts of some HA DUMMOCRETINS. Will the tape from his ex-girlfriend be admissible in CA courts?
Wait… end always justifies the means when you are a DUMMOCRETIN.

A Minnesota homeowner who lay in wait for two teen burglars and then executed them in the basement of his home has been convicted of murder by a jury.

Good. Theres another case much like that, a couple left their garage door open with the woman’s purse on the floor, and the homeowner shot at random into the dark when they heard someone in the driveway. Apparently, they shot some kid, an exchange student from Germany, as he entered the garage. They claim full Castle Doctrine immunity, but now it is being said that they may have called him into the garage. Both the man and woman have been arrested.
Murder isn’t a crime for Christians anymore. They don’t answer to secular law.

@16 This is the natural result of caving in to the gun lobby. When you have stand-your-ground, open-carry-in-day-cares, etc., it’s inevitable that this heat-packing hotheads will get itchy on the trigger finger and start killing people. Prosecute them all! Before it gets completely out of hand.

I recently read a book by Stephen Emmott, who manages a research lab for Microsoft, about the impact a human population of 10 billion will have on our planet. He concludes by saying,
“As a scientist, what do I think about our current situation? We’re in an unprecedented emergency. We urgently need to actually do something to avert a global catastrophe. But I don’t think we will. I think we’re fucked.”
That’s my take, too. You can’t manage your way out of a problem when you refuse to admit the problem even exists.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@23 What would you know about thinking? You’ve never done any.

I remember a book recently about choosing the city that specialized in your career.

@28 And if you want to be a chicken farmer making $12,000 a year by growing chickens for Tyson, you move to Arkansas. Or, conversely, if you’re stuck in Arkansas, your opportunities are limited to growing Tyson chickens for $12,000 a year. As a business owner, mind you; these chicken farmers are not Tyson employees, they’re independent business owners, which means they borrow $500,000 to $1 million from Tyson to buy a chicken farm, pay interest on those loans, raise chickens under a contract that obligates them to sell the chickens to Tyson at prices dictated to Tyson, and as independent business owners they get no benefits from Tyson, they have to pay for their own medical care and retirement and vacations.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@28 (continued) There are a couple other reasons why people aren’t moving for jobs. One, the jobs themselves are mobile; for example, the fracking jobs we hear so much about employ workers who move from town to town, wherever the drilling rigs go. Two, a lot of workers can’t relocate to job-richer areas, because they’re stuck in underwater homes they can’t refinance or sell.

Donald Sterling Chronicles, Part I
Once again, we are reminded of why our society gives billionaires disproportionate influence over the economy, politics, and social mores. It’s because of their superior intelligence, judgment, wisdom, ethics, and morals! It’s those traits that qualify them to run society for the rest of us. No, wait, that can’t be it; as Sterling reminded us, some billionaires are venal, petty, grasping, mean, and vulgar jerks. So it must be something else. It must be because they have shitloads of money and like to throw their weight around, and can get away with a lot simply because they have a lot of money and weight to throw around. Yeah, that’s gotta be it. If you take away their money and influence, they’re exactly like the neighborhood bullies down the block.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Donald Sterling Chronicles, Part II
We’re being told now that Mr. Sterling has been like this for a long time. Essentially all his life. So why didn’t the NBA know of his problem attitudes and problem mouth? Well, they did know, and they swept it under the rug for years and years, until it went viral and they couldn’t ignore it anymore. Which makes all of those NBA owners and their hired quislings a bunch of hypocrites and look-the-other-way weaklings who lacked the balls to kick an obnoxious racist out of their private club. Not exactly an impressive performance. But then, we always knew rich people — the kind of people who own pro sports teams — are morally inferior to us ordinary folk, didn’t we? And sometimes their IQs, judgment, business acumen, and personal behavior aren’t so hot, either. So why do we, as a society, let them hog all the money and power? Since power tends to be an outgrowth of money, you have to target the money, so shouldn’t we be taxing these people more?
Roger Rabbit spews:
We’ve also recently seen that children of rich people who drive drunk and kill people don’t go to prison like the rest of us, they get probation. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of this system of special treatment for the rich merely because they’re rich.
Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not asking for special treatment for myself. If you behave, you don’t need special treatment.
