I saw this Saturday night on Mad TV, and I gotta admit it took me a moment to catch on to the joke. I was hoping somebody would put it up on YouTube, so quick… watch it before Fox has it pulled.
“I gotta admit it took me a moment to catch on to the joke”
That long?

I think the Irack is a piece of junk, and I question the sanity of anyone who buys one!

@1 Since when is accepting money from a former business partner to settle a business dispute illegal? Only if you’re a gay Democrat in Iowa and the U.S. Attorney there is trying to keep his job.

well darn it, fox had it pulled.

witty – political satire- great

Thanks Goldy. What a great way to start the day. Two great satires in one piece! Who would ever think to conflate Bush with the cult of Jobs?

The righties must hate shit like this. It’s a constant reminder that just about everyone in the whole world realizes Baby Bush fucked up Iraq beyond all recognition.

Richard Popespews:
“U.S. Attorney Matt Whitaker said McCoy [a gay Democrat state senator] attempted to extort money from Reid Schultz, owner of a home security business in Des Moines, and an employee, Tom Vasquez.
Whitaker said the business was planning on selling security systems for elderly adults throughout Iowa. McCoy is alleged to have demanded money from Schultz and Vasquez and threatened to have their status as a Medicaid vendor pulled if they didn’t pay.
McCoy accepted $2,000 in payments between Dec. 29, 2005, and March 24, 2006, Whitaker said. The money was provided by the FBI as part of an undercover investigation.”
So what would Hillary and Obama think about all of this? Do they think it is immoral for government officials to extort money for themselves by threatening to take away government contracts?
While we’re probably a bit more likely than the folks over at (un)SP to be willing to wait for the court date before condemning the man, if it turns out to be true, then we’ll be just as much in favor of throwing him out of office and tossing him in jail.
This kind of thing can become a cancer in the party, and we want no part of folks that use their official position to pressure folks in private business situations.
Side note to christmasghost.
Re-reading your comments on gangs, I find that you did not mention race anywhere. I simply assumed it based on what I’ve often heard from neo-cons. In doing so, I’ve made the same error that I’ve often condemned in others, which is simply assuming that everyone in a particular group thinks exactly the same way.
That being the case, my calling you a bigot was out of line, and you have my sincere apology.

IMPEACH – – THE RAT – – BASTARD
Sign idea for Sunday. Too hatey? Should RAT and BASTARD should be hyphenated, as in IMPEACH THE RAT-BASTARD? We don’t want to alienate war-mongers who are sticklers for proper spelling.
john….well, thanks so much. really.
unless one is talking to a far left or far right person…i have found most people to not be racists, bigots or full of hate. hate comes from fear. hate is a reaction to being afraid, feeling out of control etc.
the word bigot gets thrown around like nazi these days.i was talking to my youngest son and his girlfriend last night and they brought up the duke lacross team incident.his girlfriend is from spain and she asked me why ,in this country, someone could get in trouble for using a word. specifically the “N” word.i gave, what i thought, was a great explanation of the history etc. and she just looked at me and said , yeah i get THAT. but how come some people can use it and not others?
that made me think! i mean, this word really is vile…so why should anyone be using it? and if one group of people can use it, is it fair that others can’t? isn’t that racism?
what do you think?
