    If you are committed to peace, why not promote it? Why not post this great discussion from Peace Now?

    If you are pro peace, do you never post anything about the peace movement? Peace Now is only the largest of these among Jews. We are especially proud of Givat havivah .. a wonderful Jewish-Muslim collaboration to foster understanding. Our daughter was named for Havivah Reich, the Palestinian* hero whose anem Givat Havivah carries.

    I think you once claimed there was a Muslim equivalent of Peace Now, I have looked hard for such a thing but can not find it. Does something exist. I would love to know and contrinu8te to such a place!

    *until the 50s, the term “Palestinian” meant Jew from Palestine. Havivah was one of three great Palestinian women who volunteered to parachute behind Nazi lines to organize the resistance. These were suicide missions .. missions for peace.

    This is the type of arrogance and ignorance that Palestinians have had to deal with for years. Attitudes that say that Jews somehow are the only ones that have a real birthright to statehood in the middle east. I’m pleased that Obama has shown that he won’t be the lap dog of Israel just because it be political popular to do so. Israel’s continued violation of international laws with its attempts to colonize ever inch of the Palestinian territory is an affront to the people living there who are not Jewish and border on the criminal when it comes to the success of any peace process.
