The broader S&P 500 is very similar: 2,270 on Dec. 20 and 2,280 today. So, we got a post-election “Trump rally” after Nov. 8 that lasted about 6 weeks, followed by a market that has leveled off, seesawed, and gone nowhere, either up or down, in the subsequent 6 weeks.
I happen to feel this isn’t very useful for informing a long-term investing strategy.
