The election of McIntire as Treasurer and Goldmark as Lands Commissioner is great news.
Sadly, things are not looking so good for Darcy Burner. The 11:30pm update from King County did not help her. She is now trailing by 5,300 votes. There are still a lot of votes to count, but this is not an encouraging trend.

If you look at the educational experience alone – McIntire was the best qualified candidate for Treasurer. He also has a lot of common sense.
That’s because the King County site only has King County results. The Secretary of State has consolidated results for King & Pierce Counties. Since Pierce is trending more for Reichert and Burner is even losing by a narrow margin in King, this does not bode well.
