If more Democrats resign over sex allegations that puts more seats into play. The House Black caucus is not happy. If Franken carries out the resignation, which I don’t think he should, that places both Senate seats up for election in Minnesota. With Dems having to protect 26 seats already the odds are not good for the wave in the Senate if anything the Republicans are positioned to pick up seats. At the moment this is not shaping up like the 1930 and 32 elections. Definitely not that kind of groundswell. Dems should pick up seats in the house, but they are in a deep hole in a lot of states, so deep they have to pick up some seats just because of the law of averages.
Of course with 18 million departing the party since the election, and just how are the national party finances a mystery that swell nay be a pipedream.
