One possible future that didn’t happen

It would have been a pretty scary Supreme Court. Personally I think they must have been working for the DNC.

The nomination of Palin had to be part of the same plan. There’s no other explanation.

    troll-
Devore and his fellow KLOWNmates certainly are obsessed with looking back, aren’t they.
Seems JonKLOWN is particularly “stuck on stupid”.
I guess it’s his only release as his guy Obama has lied to him about Gitmo and many other things.
I guess Jon didn’t that High-Def TV Obama promised him!

Being “in charge” is HARD WORK!
Obama says it every day…just like Bush did.
And it is HARD WORK!…especially when you have Goldy’s Northwest Division of Lunatic Moonbats living in the past…rather than governing.

Obama has his hands full….with his own Party!. Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Bawney et al are more of a problem than the Republicans…not to mention his idiotic VP Joe Biden, who whenever he speaks off the talking points causes Obama great angst.
Can you imagine someone with a mouth like Biden’s being a heartbeat away from the Presidency??
    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
    God help us.

I prefer to look forward. Let’s see what’s ahead, shall we?

mid-June: The Supreme Court bitch-slaps Norm Coleman’s charade and finally ends the Minnesota senatorial race and Al Franken is seated. About the same time, Sonia Sotomayor becomes the nation’s newest SC justice.

late July: I’ll be coming home for a week or so for family reunions and maybe a Mariners or Sounders game if I’m lucky.

2010: After moving even further to the right, the Party of Boss Limbaugh loses 4 or 5 more seats in the Senate (including Grampy McSame), and another 20 in the House in the midterms.

2012: After moving even further to the right, Sarah Palin is yet again thrown to the wolves as Obama is re-elected by the largest majority since 1984, and further gains in Congress reduce the Party of Boss Limbaugh to about 30 Senators and about 28% of the House.
2014: After moving further to the right (with predictable results), the Party of Boss Limbaugh declares war on America, and 50,000 of Glenn Beck’s ‘Bubbas’ are quickly rounded up when their initial attempts at insurrection become inadvertent beer-bashes, and are charged with being Drunk…. in Public. The Bubbas are only charged with insurrection after they sober up.

2016: After nominating Al Franken President, D’s now face a new challenge from a new center-right party that nominates……. well who cares? By this time, an old sweaty tube sock would beat anything any righty party would put up.

Yep, I love looking towards the future.

    Fuck you.

Question for everyone. If every single political position in America, from President on down, were filled by a Democrat, do you think John would be a happy man?

    #5. All democrats….

If you think about it at all, it’s not the party affiliation, it’s what they do. They could be republicans, so long as they represent their people. They fight to keep America safe. They encourage a tax and regulation structure that promotes a thriving diverse economy of small and medium sized businesses as well as big corporations. They fight for a living wage and fair trade. They support rights for all American, not just the straight christian male ones. They use government to counter the really big things that individuals cannot defend against, like environmental problems, out of control branches of the government spying on it’s citizens, unethical corporations and invading armies.
I’m sure there are other key things I forgot, but that’s the big ones. I bet in that list, there is even common ground with rational conservatives.

“They support rights for all American, not just the straight christian male ones.”

    WTF???
What “rights” do gay non-Christian males not have??
What do you mean by “rights”?
    Constitutional rights??

    I believe in minimalist Government.
    Infrastructure and defense Nationally.
    Infrastructure and Public safety locally.
Do you believe those are the primary purposes of government Blue John??

How do we pay for it?
    Everyone ought to pay something.
The problem we have now is the growing # of dependents on big government.
