Yes, those are my toes, wiggling in the warm, white sands of Longport NJ, even as I tap this out on my iPhone. Enjoy the rain currently forecast for Seafair weekend.
Actually, we forgot to bring the tags to the beach today, though my mother has plenty of them. But in the nearly 20 years I’ve been coming down to Longport, I don’t think I’ve been asked for my tag once.
I’ve done three day hikes on the Olympic Coast where I haven’t seen another person. I doubt I could do that anywhere on the east coast.
You might lose that bet in the backwoods of Maine. There are places there that are off the path that’s off the beaten path.

Bad typing on my part; I was attempting to talk about the actual coast of the east coast. You could probably go for days w/o seeing anyone in Adirondack Park in NY as well.

Goldy,
I will laugh if your toes get sunburned. :)
I won’t laugh, because it happened to me one time. I got a REAL BAD sunburn on my feet at at Ocean City, NJ, because I slathered on the sunscreen before I took off my shoes.
Man, I’m jealous. Haven’t been down to the Jersey shore in about 15 years…
@1:
Have your Mommy buy you a plane ticket like Goldy does. :)

OMG, his big toes are bent inward, like you see on women who frequently wear pointy-toed pumps.
Say “hi” to Snookie and The Situation for me!
kinda ironic that next to goldy’s post is an advert for the HA Fund Drive……
make your own conclusions…..
Driving down to the Jersey Shore in you bitchin’ Camaro?

Don’t accept any candygrams out there.
