There’s a small part of me that hopes there is an initiative to repeal the head tax. I haven’t seen any polls, but I can’t imagine team regressive taxes and do nothing about homelessness is popular among Seattle voters. Still, I hope you don’t sign if you see a petition. It’s past time to deal with homelessness in Seattle.

    Flynn’s investigation began when he attended a lunch at which Putin was president, and gave a speech which earned him $45,000 from the Russians.

    No word on whether Bill Clinton’s $500,000 Russia speech resulted in an investigation.

    Nor whether Jill Stein, who sat at the same table as Flynn and Putin at that Moscow lunch mentioned above, became the subject of an investigation.

    The fireworks at Wednesday’s hearing came after one of those defense lawyers, Eric Dubelier, complained to Friedrich that the government hadn’t responded to or even acknowledged more than 70 discovery requests he made last month. Instead, prosecutors have offered a massive quantity of social media data from accounts that were allegedly set up under fake identities for the purpose of influencing American politics.

    “We had a very brief call on Friday initiated by the government,” Dubelier said. He said prosecutors told him much of the information was in Russian, but they had no translations. “I said, ‘How do you know what’s in it?’”

    “I anticipate we are going to get this massive dump of social media accounts in Russian. This is an American court,” the defense attorney added.

Meanwhile, Trump has an NRA speaking engagement today, where he will stir up maniacs who make death threats against school children for advocating gun control as a way to be safe in their classrooms.     The other day my employer had to inform everyone with a memo that they will continue to reimburse for expenses related to getting your Professional Engineer’s or Architectural License and continue to reimburse the cost for upkeep of said license, but only that it will now have to be considered taxable income due to the changes in the 2018 tax laws.
