Then all you’ll have to do is hire a CPA to figure out what part of your gross income is taxable income after subtracting business expenses, etc., unless you’re willing to pay income taxes on expenditures like brokerage fees, foreign taxes paid, costs of materials and labor in your small business, etc. A flat rate tax would reduce the size of Donald Trump’s tax return from 10,000 pages to, say, 9,999 1/2 pages.
