So Disney/Lucasfilm declined to offer her a role in the second season and her character has not appeared since. There was an offhand refrence to her death in a Season 3 episode.
People are still reporting that she was fired as if Lucasfilm/Disney were required to offer her a contract to replace the fulfilled one.

Actually this is the “civil war” they talk about. When MAGArats mention “civil war,” most of us will tend to think of the 1861-1865 conflict between North and South (which neo-Confederates recently have taken to referring to as “the War of Rights”), encouraged by the fringe secessionist movements popping up in various places.
But this civil war is already underway, and in forms we didn’t expect and don’t recognize. It’s occurring in the brandishing of guns and threats against public officials, the Jan. 6 riot was part of it, as is the Republican Party’s lawlessness. It’s a war of attrition designed to wear us down into a state of apathy.

The vaccine effectiveness was basically a measure of how well it looks like the vaccine prevented post-COVID symptoms. That’s for people who were infected AFTER getting vaxxed.
Here’s the thing: We’ve all been infected now, except for maybe Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit, who cannot afford to go anywhere and therefore does not leave the house. And what does the meta-analysis tell us about vaccine protection for those already infected?
(VE is vaccine effectivenent, DOR is diagnostic odds ratio)
What this means is that, on average, if you have already been infected, getting vaxxed actually INCREASES your odds of long COVID, and within the confidence interval range your odds might be as much as 90% greater.
If you’ve been infected, getting vaxxed arguably does little and statistically actually increases your risk of long COVID. It also exposes you to whatever risks there may be from the vaccine itself.
I’ve taken the jab four times now. I don’t see a scientifically justifiable reason to take it again, and a lot of people are working awfully hard to delay publication of vaccine reaction data. I’m willing to believe that the vaccine helped me in 2021. I’m just not willing to believe that continuing to be vaxxed still helps me.

In November of last year Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy Jessee Hernandez was in the middle of a routine patrol investigation of a noise disturbance with a suspect in custody in handcuffs in the back of his patrol vehicle.
Deputy Hernandez was returning to his patrol vehicle to conduct a secondary search of his suspect when, upon nearing the patrol vehicle, he reports he heard a gunshot. BWC released this week by Okaloosa County Sheriffs Dept shows Hernandez shrieking in agony, rage, and girlish fear while awkwardly diving to the ground and rolling around clumsily as if he had been shot. He then draws his service weapon and begins multiple clip dumps into the back of his own patrol car where his unarmed, handcuffed suspect was now enduring a storm of hot cop lead AND while fellow a Sheriff’s Deputy Sft Beth Roberts was immediately down range of Deputy Hernandez seeking cover herself and then upon Deputy Hernandez’s advice also “returning fire” into the back of the patrol vehicle.
